The gala celebrates five years of empowering cancer patients and survivors, recognizing 15 honorees who have touched lives with their resilience. Guests from across Hudson County and beyond will enjoy an evening of celebration, inspiration, and a rooftop after-party to keep the festivities going. All About Glamming the Warrior
Founded in 2021 by Rochelle R. E Magno, Glamming the Warrior is all about reinstilling confidence from the outside in. The organization provides wellness makeover experiences for cancer patients and survivors, including beauty treatments, bodywork, acupuncture, styling, and holistic care, all designed to foster positive psychological effects, restore confidence, and improve overall quality of life during and after treatment.
Glamming the Warrior partners with 13 local small businesses, called GTW Service Providers, who generously donate their talent to support the cancer community. These include businesses include:

The organization’s impact goes beyond Hudson County. On September 27, Glamming the Warrior was honored by the Madeline Fiadini LoRe Foundation for Cancer Prevention for its ongoing dedication to cancer support services.
A Celebration of Community + Wellness
The 5th annual Heroes for Healing Gala kicks off at 7:30PM at Hudson House in Jersey City. This black-tie event is a special night to honor 15 individuals whose journeys with cancer have inspired their families, friends, and community. Guests can expect heartfelt tributes, emotional stories, and moments of pure celebration.
The night doesn’t end there: the gala includes an exclusive rooftop after-party for all attendees, creating the perfect opportunity to continue celebrating resilience and community under the stars.
The Heroes for Healing Gala is the culmination of a year’s work supporting those navigating cancer. From emotional support to wellness experiences, the evening highlights how Glamming the Warrior makes a real difference in the lives of patients and survivors. This is a night of recognition, joy, and unforgettable memories, where honorees, supporters, and local businesses come together to celebrate resilience in all its forms.
Proceeds from the gala directly fund these programs, allowing Glamming the Warrior to continue offering wellness services at no cost to patients and survivors.
