Meeting friends is hard. That’s where our latest Hoboken Girl Social comes in. If you’re in the market for making some new friends in the area, then our upcoming Find a Hoboken Girl {Friend} Social: UNPLUGGED on Wednesday, February 27th at the Kolo Klub is the event for you.
This is round THREE of a reader-favorite Hoboken Girl event — specifically designed to bring together women in Hudson County who are looking to make new friends in a fun, interactive, and laid-back environment. And this time around, we’re changing it up a bit by making this event totally unplugged. That’s right — this event is cellphone- and camera-free! Get your tickets HERE.
You’ll spend the night enjoying a free drink, drink specials, lite bites, giveaways, and tons of fun. Throughout the night, attendees you’ll also participate in our 90s Passport: HG Edition game— think polaroids, Lisa Frank, MASH, old-school board games, + other 90s fun. Click here for tickets.
The best part about this event: It’s phone-free. As part of our HG Unplugged week-long social media detox {more info coming VERY soon!}, we’re encouraging event attendees to unplug, relax, and enjoy some time making new friends without the distractions that come with being connected to your cell.

Here’s how it works…
- From 6:30-7:00PM, event attendees will check-in, grab their free drink and all the things needed for the night’s activities.
- At 7:00PM, we’ll start the 90s Passport activity where you’ll spend time chatting with other event attendees and learn fun facts about them and about the Hudson County area.
- At 8:15PM, we’ll finish up the game, continue mingling, and start announcing the winners of our giveaway items– including 2 Tickets to an Upcoming Kolo Klub Wine Tasting and our Ultimate Hoboken Girl {Friend} Giveaway, a pass for 2 to all HG Events for the next year.
- Throughout the entire event, you’ll also be able to sample delicious food from the Kolo Klub and have access to drink specials while enjoying a wide array of cocktails, craft beers, and unique wines.
