Let’s be honest, one of the best perks about living on this side of the river is that… well, we get a prime view across the way! Drinks or dinner with a panoramic view of the skyline is simply not an option for Manhattan-ites, which is why we should definitely take advantage of it whenever possible. Below, these four restaurants boast ridiculously amazing views, a romantic ambiance and delicious food to match.

For Mexican: Charrito’s {974 Boulevard E}

Yep, it’s the same Charrito’s name as everyone’s favorite Hoboken BYOBs, but with a stunning view and full bar! The ambience is dim and intimate inside but not too fancy and portions are huge and easily split {making it perfect for a first date or an anniversary}. Like its Hoboken counterparts, skipping the homemade guac here is basically criminal — pair it with one of their amazing margaritas while you wait for your entree. Oh, and because it’s up on the cliffs of Weehawken, your view goes from the GWB all the way downtown – seriously unparalleled.

Hobbs Inc

For Upscale Pub Fare: Houlihan’s {Shops At Lincoln Harbor, 1200 Harbor Blvd}

Houlihan’s is your classic pub fare in a not-so-classic atmosphere. Chowing down nachos and wings while seated on the banks of the Hudson is definitely a unique experience. Not feeling a full evening of dining? Check out there always-packed happy hour from 4pm- close, it includes discounted drinks and $5 appetizers!

For Steaks & Seafood: Chart House {Lincoln Harbor Pier D-T}

Whether you’re craving filet mignon or flounder, Chart House comes through. The extensive menu is sure to please even the pickiest eater, just make sure you save some room for their famous chocolate lava cake! Trust us, you won’t regret it. Their floor-to-ceiling windows are seriously amazing — so if you haven’t had a chance to hit up this Weehawken spot, you best come through soon. Ideal for a date night or fancy dinner with the ‘rents.

For Mediterranean: Molos {1 Pershing Rd}

Get ready to feel transported to coastal Greece! This seafood restaurant with a Mediterranean and Greek flair sits on the Hudson directly across from the Empire State Building, and with floor to ceiling windows, it’s safe to say that no matter where you’re seated you’ll be dining with a to-die-for view. Fresh seafood and Greek classics fill the menu, and with elegant, tealight-adorned tables, an extensive wine list and the sparkling skyline — it’s the place for a romantic night out. Oh, and if you’re planning a bridal shower or birthday party, check out the second floor: It’s gorgeous and reserved for private dining. Drivers rejoice; there’s a private {and free!} parking lot for guests. Opa!
