The end of the year is approaching, which means one thing: the Best of Hoboken and Jersey City 2025 Guide is back! In the blink of an eye, 2025 is almost over — and now is the best time to think about all of your favorite local businesses and nominate them for an award. As always, we have lots of categories for Hoboken and Jersey City, ranging from the ‘Best Bagel’ to ‘Best DIY Experience’ to ‘Best Eyebrow Spot’ and more — as well as some new categories like ‘Best New Dinner Spot’ and ‘Best Matcha.’ These reader-selected awards give businesses bragging rights for months (and sometimes years) to come. Best of luck to all the local businesses — and don’t forget to nominate your favorites!
Readers can nominate any businesses, people, and places for each respective category from now through 11:59PM on Thursday, November 13th. Once we count the votes, we’ll be announcing the top three finalists in each category. Then, from those top-tier choices, readers will vote again to select a winner.
Finalists will win a decal sticker to display on their storefronts as well as accolades on our website for all to see in the new year. View the 2024 winners here.

Here’s How to Nominate:
Nominate any business or person in any category you’d like, now through 11:59PM on Thursday, November 13th. Readers can nominate businesses in one, a few, or all categories.
Directions:
- Scroll down below to enter your name + email. You will then be directed to a new page where you will see this year’s category dropdowns — everything from wellness to fitness to food to beauty and beyond.
- Fill out your favorite business for each category. You can nominate as many businesses in as many categories as you’d like — there is no limit, you just have to fill out the form for each business.
That’s it! We’ll do the tallying from there.
The official polls displaying the top three finalists in each category will be live in late-November — where you can vote again for the winner to take home the title. We’ll announce the winners in each category in mid-December.
