We have so many unofficial starts to the summer because we’re almost literally dying for the season to just get here already. But THIS week it’s here — the official start to summer! From summer parties and street food to live music and trivia, Hoboken and Jersey City are supplying the happiest hours around. Here are the best Hoboken and Jersey City happy hours of the week:
Monday – June 19th
Buy-One-Get-One at Village Pourhouse {Hoboken}

Tuesday – June 20th
Harry Potter Trivia at Maxwell’s {Hoboken}

Get Down Summer Party at LITM {Jersey City}
There’s no better way to celebrate the start of summer then with a summer dance party. LITM is having their Chilltown Get Down: Summer Dance Party + BBQ from 7PM to 1AM. Try one of their new refreshing cocktails {we’re talking frosé and boozy popsicles}, enjoy some delicious classic BBQ, and dance the night away. Thursday – June 22nd
Sips Under the Stars at Grand Vin {Hoboken}
Grand Vin is celebrating the season with an outdoor wine tasting from 8PM to 10PM. For $35, you can enjoy some of their finest Italian wines while appreciating the summer stars. Plus, the ambiance her is super chill and perfect for kicking off the season.
Summer Happy Hour Series at South House {Jersey City}

Friday – June 23rd
2U Concert at The Dub Pub {Hoboken}
If you’ve been missing U2’s tour, apparently 2U is the next best thing. The U2 tribute band will be performing the entire setlist of the “Joshua Tree 2017” tour at the The Dubliner. You’ll also have a chance to not miss out on the current U2 tour because you could win tickets to the U2 concert at MetLife Stadium on the 29th. Street Food of Asia at Zeppelin Hall {Jersey City}
The Zeppelin Hall Biergarten + Restaurant kicks off their Street Food of Asia event starting on Friday until July 28th. With free parking, no cover charge, and beautiful outdoor garden seating, you’ll definitely want to try this out before it ends on July 30th.
Saturday – June 24th
EG Truck at Pier 13 {Hoboken}
Pier 13 is a revolving door of the area’s best food trucks, and this Thursday, the Empanada Guy will be among the fray. Do not miss one of the fastest growing food truck fleets in NJ, serving up authentic Latin American food from traditional beef to lobster empanadas, along side items such as taco salads and Cuban sandwiches.
Project: Eats {Jersey City}
If you’re a foodie, you definitely don’t want to miss this. The Jersey City Project is hosting Project: Eats from 11AM to 7PM in front of City Hall at 280 Grove St. This marketplace will feature gourmet food vendors + food trucks and is a delicious way to spend your afternoon. Plus, you have Saturday and Sunday to check it out.
Sunday – June 25th
Fierce Fabulous Latina: Paint, Sip, and Brunch {Hoboken}
This one is for all of our Latina ladies! Latina MADE not MAID is hosting their Fierce Fabulous Latina – Paint, Sip, and Brunch event this Sunday at Pinot’s Palette from 11AM to 2PM. It’ll be a fun morning full of art, brunch, femininity, and pride while you receive step-by-step guidance through your painting. Supplies are included in the ticket price as well as food and drinks.
