The brainchild of cannabis activist Sarah Russell, the shop opened in June of 2025 in Jersey City Heights. Jokingly referred to as a “grandma-friendly” dispensary by the team (our kinda spot), Benedict’s Supply is discreet from the outside, but the atmosphere inside is warm and inviting. The team, affectionately referred to as “budtenders”, takes time to answer questions and make recommendations tailored to individual needs.
Benedict’s Supply curates its inventory carefully with a balance of product variety and quality. The team visits the farms and growers behind the products they carry, prioritizing quality and integrity in the products (and the prices are super reasonable!).
Products Made For An Everyday Routine
One of our favorite things about Benedict’s Supply is that the range of products goes beyond what we’d normally expect from a dispensary. Alongside traditional cannabis items, the shop has transdermal patches, topical creams, and low-dose edibles that perfectly fit one’s everyday routine.
The shop’s products not only fit everyday routines, but are designed to resemble everyday life as well. For example, the 510 batteries offer a fun way to be hidden by resembling common objects such as highlighters, keychains, and car keys. Storage options and gift ideas are also thoughtfully selected, with products such as smell-proof bags, greeting cards with joint holders, and lockable storage carriers available.
But, like we said, we’re here to learn, and Benedict’s Supply leans into the educational side of things with a selection of books, including cookbooks, educational guides, and even cannabis-themed novels. Details like this really add another layer to the shopping experience and make the space feel more like a one-stop boutique (which we love!).
4/20 Weekend Events at Benedict’s Supply
Benedict’s Supply is celebrating 4/20 with a weekend of special deals and discounts. From Friday, April 17th, through Monday, April 20th, the shop is hosting a series of in-store promotions, including giveaways for the first 20 (wink) customers each day and discounts on select brands, starting at 40 percent off.
On Friday, April 17th, there will also be an ice cream truck parked outside from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. New product drops will be available just in time for the weekend, giving regulars and newcomers fresh and exciting options to choose from.
