After enjoying time with family and friends, eating tons of turkey and stuffing, and getting some Black Friday shopping in, make sure to take advantage of the long Thanksgiving weekend with events going on in Hudson County. We’re so thankful for all the fun things to do in the area — and of course, thankful for all of you! Here are 11 things to do in Hoboken and Jersey City this Thanksgiving {2017} holiday weekend.

Hoboken Girl Holiday Market: Tuesday, December 19th from 6:00PM-10:00PM

Friday Thanksgiving Hangover at Coco Havana: Friday, November 24th at 10:00PM

White Eagle Hall Disco Inferno: Friday, November 24th at 8:00PM

Hudson Theatre Ensemble Presents: Sing Me a Story: Saturday, November 25th at 11:00AM and 1:00PM

Oral History Chapbook Commemorates Palumbo’s Tavern: Sunday, November 26th at 4:00PM


Celebrate the Hoboken Museum’s newest oral history chapbook, Palumbo’s Tavern. In the chapbook, Ann Palumbo Monaco discusses her grandparents’ Monroe Street tavern, where neighbors gathered to relax, gossip, celebrate, and to enjoy Anna Palumbo’s fabulous pasta “fazool.”This is a free event, and all attendees will receive a copy of the book. The Hub’s 1st Friendsgiving: Sunday, November 26th at 12:00PM

The Songbird Series: Official Series Launch Party: Sunday, November 26th at 7:00PM


LITM in Jersey City {140 Newark Ave} is hosting its launch party for the Songbird music series. Celebrate women artists in a variety of genres including Carolyn Light, Chrissy Roberts, and Ariel Gudry. The event is free, but there is a $10 suggested donation. Click here for more info.
