Happy weekend, Hudson County! Although it’s technically not Hallo-weekend yet, that doesn’t mean the Halloween celebrations haven’t already started. Next week make sure you check out Lines in the Dust by Obie-winning and Pulitzer-nominated actress and playwright Nikkole Salter. Shows begin at 8:00PM, Thursday, November 7th through Saturday, November 9th at New Jersey City University’s West Side Theatre {285 West Side Avenue, Jersey City}. Set in 2010 in Essex County, Lines in the Dust tells the story of Denitra, a single mother who loses the charter school lottery for her daughter and who now must find another way to escape from their underperforming neighborhood school.
