Ah, the weekend {please cue a huge sigh of relief}. We kicked off the week with some “serious” snow and are finally ending it with just enough sunshine to remind us that it is, in fact, March {and that winter is, hopefully, on its way out}. Of course, some of the best ways to enjoy the weekend are by getting out and about – from catching a live music performance or volunteering your time to those in need, there are tons of fun + interesting ways to enjoy yourself. March on March 9th to Save Your Waterfront at Pier A Park — Saturday, March 9th from 10:00AM
On March 9th, The Fund for a Better Waterfront is hosting a march against the building of a ferry maintenance/refueling facility at the site of the Union Dry Dock (which is currently home to activities like kayaking and fishing as well as a pedestrian path). If you want the space to be a public park, not a diesel depot, join The Fund for a Better Waterfront, the Hoboken Cove Community Boathouse and Resilience Paddle Sports to show your support.
