Pride Month 2020 is finally here and, although we love to support our LGBTQ+ community all year long, we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate a little extra this month. Even though the world is still a bit closed down, there are still tons of virtual happenings throughout the month of June that you and your friends can attend in celebration and support of the LGBTQ+ community. To make it easier for you, we’ve created this list of all the virtual Pride celebrations going on in Hoboken, Jersey City, and beyond this month.

Hudson Pride and In Full Color Happy Hour Event 

June 11th | 5:00PM-6:00PM

Join the live Pride Month Celebration featuring LGBTQ+ artists. Everyone 21 years and older can join the cocktail demo + artist talk.

LGBTQ+ Prom

June 13th | 4:30PM-7:00PM

The annual free LGBTQ+ Prom has gone virtual for members aged 15-22. Dance along to a live DJ, then stick around for the  Dance/Vogue competition, as well as an announcement for this year’s 2020 Prom Royals. Participate in the prom to recieve a chance to win a gift card. Email prom@hudsonpride.org to register and get Zoom info.

Pride Yoga Event 

June 16th  | 6:00PM-7:00PM

Join the PRIDE MINDFULness Night, with Pamela Weatherspoon. This beginner’s class will highlight breathing techniques and yoga practices that will lead the LGBTQ+ community into a relaxed week. Email info@hudsonpride.org for zoom info.

LGBTQ+ Open Mic Night 

June 18th  | 6:00PM-7:30PM

Showcase PRIDE with your special talents. LGBTQ+ members aged 18 and older can join Hudson Pride Center in celebrating Pride month with an open mic night. All artists are welcome.

HPC and Research With A Heart Virtual Drop In Event

The Hudson Pride Center & Research with a Heart are hosting a Virtual Dance + Trivia Party for LGBTQ+ members 18 years and up. This Pride celebration will feature a head to head vs. battle, where participants take turns playing the hottest hits to get you up and dancing some of your quarantine stress away. Guests can also compete against each other in the trivia contest in order to win a virtual gift card. Click here to register.
