The 4th Annual Hoboken Wellness Crawl is back this year, and our application is now OPEN for one of North Jersey’s largest wellness events. This year’s event is happening on Sunday, April 26th from 11:00AM-4:00PM. Last year this event welcomed over 100 local businesses to bring the best of health, fitness, beauty, and wellness to the Hoboken, Jersey City, and great Hudson County community. This year’s event is sure to be bigger and better than ever with some exciting new additions. Read on more below for all of the details on this event and a link to the vendor application.

Date: Sunday, April 26th, 2020

Time: 11:00AM-4:00PM {*vendor setup begins at 9:00AM}

Location: The City of Hoboken

Application Deadline: Friday, February 7th at 12:00PM

Vendor Acceptance Notification: Wednesday, February 19th

Wellness Crawl FAQs

What is the Hoboken Wellness Crawl?

The Hoboken Wellness Crawl brings together the best local businesses in Hudson County + beyond to offer samplings of their amazing health, beauty, food, and fitness offerings to participating “crawlers” throughout the day.

Here’s how it works…

  • Crawlers purchase a ticket for the Wellness Hub/check-in spot of their choice online prior to the event.
  • Upon check-in at their designated spot, each crawler gets a bracelet and access to the exclusive Wellness Crawl Map that shows where all of the participating businesses are located.
  • Each business offers a day-of freebie and a $75+ giveaway raffle contest to crawlers to enter.
  • Throughout the day crawlers walk, run, bike, etc. around town to check out all of the great wellness options along the way, in whatever order they desire with friends or solo.
  • Rain or shine!

What types of businesses can be vendors for the Wellness Crawl?

Vendors for the Wellness Crawl should fall into one of the following categories:

Health: Doctor’s offices, nurses, IV companies, health + nutrition coaches, chiropractors, acupuncturists, physical therapists, etc. would all be a good fit for this category.

Beauty: Hair salons, nail salons, waxing boutiques, makeup artists, skincare brands, spas, etc. would all be a good fit for this category

Food + Drink: Healthy food options are key for this event. Please note, this is a dry event — businesses who serve alcohol are not a fit as vendors for this event.

Fitness: Gyms, pilates studios, yoga studios, barre studios, personal trainers, etc. are a great fit for this category.

Overall Wellness: Athleisure boutiques + brands, ethical living products, coaches, meditation teachers, Reiki healers, sound healers, etc. are all a good fit for this category

*Please note: we have a limited amount of spaces available for MLM businesses and only one rep from each company will be accepted for participation at maximum.

Why would I want to be a vendor for the Wellness Crawl?

This event has been sold out for the past three years in a row with approximately 1,000 tickets sold each year. It’s a great way to connect to local residents from Hudson County and beyond who have an interest in health + wellness and are looking for new ways to incorporate local offerings into their lives.  By participating, you’ll get to meet with participants throughout the day and tell them all about your business.

What options do I have for my business to participate?

There are two types of vendors at the Wellness Crawl — Wellness Stop vendors and Wellness Hub vendors. The first step is to determine which is the right fit for your business, and then you’ll fill out our vendor application to apply.

Wellness Stop vendors are vendors with a physical business location in Hoboken. We’ll list your business on our Wellness Crawl map as a stop and crawlers will stop by your brick-and-mortar location throughout the day.

Wellness Hub vendors are vendors who don’t have a storefront in Hoboken but offer products and services to our community. These vendors will set up a table inside one of our Wellness Hubs {we have three — downtown, uptown, and west Hoboken}, where crawlers will visit throughout the day.

Are there any key requirements day-of if I participate as a vendor?

Yes! All vendors must offer a day-of freebie to all 1,000 participants. This can be a free consultation, trial, sample, takeaway swag item, etc. You get to choose what freebie makes sense for your business. We just require that it’s available to everyone who participates {not just new clients} and is truly free {aka no discount coupons}.

All vendors must also offer a giveaway raffle with a minimum value of $75. This raffle is free for ticket holders to enter and you take care of running the raffle for your business and manage your entries. This is also a great way to collect the contact information for people you speak with as privacy laws prevent us from sending out the contact information of ticket holders.

My business hosts fitness classes, am I able to offer them?

Yes! If you have your own studio or gym location in Hoboken we would LOVE for you to offer classes throughout the day. Just make sure to indicate that you’re interested in hosting classes on your application.

Is there a participation fee for vendors?

Yes. You’ll find that information inside of the vendor application.

Do you have larger sponsorship opportunities?

Yes! We offer a variety of sponsorship opportunities that will further promote your business before and during the event. Email kate@hobokengirl.com for more information.

Please note that filling out the application does not guarantee acceptance. Vendor applications are due by Friday, February 7th, 2020 at 12:00PM. All accepted vendors will be notified of their acceptance by Wednesday, February 19th, 2020.
