Whether you’ll be participating it St. Patrick’s Day festivities or you’ll be avoiding it, one thing is for certain: You’ll strike gold with the plethora of events going down this weekend. Check out some bar crawls on Saturday, do some shopping at alba boutique, or check out a mystery mixologist competition for some boozy fun. Here are 16 events to do this weekend in Hoboken and Jersey City this weekend {March 15th, 2018 – March 18th, 2018}.

Juventus Academy Soccer Camp: July 9th through July 13th

Just in time for summer, Juventus Academy Camp is launching in Hoboken, New Jersey this July 2018.  Juventus is widely known across Europe and the world as one of the elite professional soccer clubs. On July 9-13, 2018, the Juventus Training Method will be on full display at Sinatra Park where the elite training of Juventus will be on full display with the most beautiful and unique backdrop of the New York City skyline. This Juventus Academy Camp in Hoboken will bring the highest quality of training standards in accordance with the Juventus Way. The Camp will be conducted by official coaches from the Juventus Academy in Italy, and participants will be introduced to the training methods of Italy’s premier football club. Each player will receive a full Juventus training kit, a certificate of completion from Juventus, a participation medal from Juventus, as well as many more perks! At the conclusion of the camp, Selected Players will be invited to for an opportunity to be invited to live a fantastic Juventus Training Experience at the Juventus Academy in Turin, Italy next year! Zeppelin Hall St. Patrick’s Day Menu: Through Sunday, March 18th

It’s St. Patrick’s Week at Zeppelin Hall {88 Liberty View Dr}! Throw back some green beer and feast on six different dishes including Corned Beef & Cabbage, Irish Reuben Sandwiches, and Guinness Beer Bratwurst from Chef Franco Robazetti. The biergarten in Jersey City will be having a big St. Patrick’s Day celebration on Saturday, March 17th at 9:30 PM as well, with live music from The Itinerants and of course, more green beer. If you can’t wait until then, Zeppelin Hall will be starting the party early with Midnight Happy Hour on Friday with $4 select beers.

Help artist Catherine Hart celebrate her new exhibition, Reflections On SE Asia, at A Condo {389 Washington Street}. Hart is currently the assistant director for the Jersey City Summer Youth Public Art Program and cofounder of The YALL Art Project, a non profit organization that brings a collaborative art process to communities and schools in need of the arts. The Y’all Art Project begins it’s first projects in Thailand and Cambodia in the winter of 2017. When not traveling for mural projects, Hart resides in Jersey City, NJ. Dave Cooper Art Opening + Book Release Party: Friday, March 16th 

This show will feature drawings by Dave Cooper from his brand-new book, Mudbite — plus a few other surprises. Known for his depictions of pillowy, Rubenesque women and oddly smiling, disturbed little creatures, Canadian artist Dave Cooper‘s many talents include making incredible oil paintings, creating animated films for adults and kids, and designing toys and action figures. Here he returns to his first love, drawing…and the result is spectacular. Gorgeous pencil originals from his brand new book will be shown for the very first time at the Scott Eder Gallery {888 Newark Ave}. The show goes through April 21st.

Layups 4 Life March Madness Viewing Party: Saturday, March 17th at 2:00PM

Layups 4 Life is returning to the The Ainsworth for a fun day of basketball, fundraising, and St. Patty’s Day Celebration. Starting at 2PM, the purchase of a $10 bracelet at the door will get you access to the best specials in Hoboken. Proceeds raised on this day will go towards our fundraising efforts, which benefits cancer research and clinical trials, supporting cancer research institutions such as Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. There will be plenty of food and drink specials with your bracelet. 

St. Patrick’s Day at Brewshot: Saturday, March 17th at 3:00PM

Pinocchio Opening Night at JCTC Kids: Through May 20th

Watch one of your favorite childhood classics live on stage at Jersey City Theater Center {339 Newark Ave}. Pinocchio by Puppetworks features hand-carved, wooden marionettes, original music, and vivid, colorful scenes ranging from the Undersea World, complete with a whale.
