If you’ve been good the last few weeks {I know, I know, define good?}, recovering from the holidays both calorie and dollar-wise, then you will certainly be loving what I am dishing in this here post. Offerings from the mile-chic city that are zero grams of fat but guaranteed to take the edge off your style cravings.

Galatea Lingerie, seasoned veterans of all things intimates, are ready for those who want to give a little sexy or feel {very} sexy with their stunning assortment of undergarments by brands like Chantelle, who created this beautiful set {pictured below} with lace detail. Bra $118 | Underwear $62

Beyond the elegant unmentionables though are plenty of other great finds including adorable sleep masks {give one to a friend! makes a great gal-entine} that are under $25 and a ready to wear assortment for the Galatea woman. And that means the sizes go up to a 12-14 on most brands which is refreshing to see in a boutique.

Galatea is located at 1224 Washington Street

There’s been a little shuffle on the main avenue in town and beauty haven Makeovers has moved into a new location on 327 Washington Street. This location is full of specialty products you might have thought only a trek into New York City could provide. But lucky us! E.v.e.r.y. shade of Essie and OPI nail polish have been accounted for, along with top of the line hair tools and grooming care for men including the line of Jack Black essentials.

Makeovers Essie

Makeovers also has a full service salon so if cut, color and blowout were on the to-do list, after a stop here, it’s the to-done list. And now through 3/31 take advantage of their Grand Opening Special $30 for a wash| cut | blowdry {only at their Hoboken location}.

Have you had the opportunity to get Heathered yet? It’s a thing and once you’re done at Makeovers, you can skip right to their next door neighbors, Two Heathers. A newer store that sashayed in town during the holiday season, this boutique brings an fresh mix of high-low fashion. If you need help out of the style funk winter has put you in, a pair of their insanely comfortable cotton joggers in tribal print {$55 } are sure to liven things up.

If your commitment has been to the gym all January {a. props to you}  and b. their new assortment of street chic workout gear will have you stepping out in style. Keep your momentum going all February with Koral’s Metallic Stripe Legging {$89} and for post-work out Ted Baker Floral Hightops {$160}.
