About the Cuddly Boutique
The Cuddly Boutique will operate completely online, selling exclusively-selected items. Owners Kimberley Bueno-Schonig and Tom Bueno-Schonig were inspired by their clients — who are predominantly dog and cat owners — so their initial inventory is catered to those pets, but they’re always on the lookout for exciting products for every kind of pet. Hoboken residents can enjoy personalized hand-delivery as well as free domestic shipping on orders of $50 or more.
The Cuddly Boutique is unique in that it’s tied to their pet sitting service, The Cuddly Cottage. Kim and Tom have learned a lot about local pet owners by caring for their dogs and cats every day through their dog-walking and in-home daycare services, so they’ve curated an inventory that they think local pet parents will enjoy and can’t easily find in brick-and-mortar stores. Plus, if you’re a client of The Cuddly Cottage and like something in the boutique or just ran out of poop bags {we’ve all been there}, they can provide free delivery with your next scheduled walk.

About the Owners
Kimberley and Tom Bueno-Schonig are local entrepreneurs and animal lovers. The couple started Cuddly Ventures LLC in June 2018 after several neighbors asked for help caring for their pets. Having recently left her position at a major quantitative hedge fund, Kimberley started working full-time to build a highly-professional, community-oriented business that gives pet owners peace of mind. Tom assisted part-time while completing a Business Intelligence contract for a prominent investment bank and now works on the business full-time as well.
Originally from California and New York, respectively, Kimberley and Tom were married in Hoboken in May 2019. They have two dogs of their own, an Italian Greyhound named Gamma and a Pomeranian named Waffles. When they’re not working on their businesses, they love traveling, eating seafood + Korean BBQ, and drinking bloody marys.
