Finding the perfect summer camp for your little ones can be a challenge, to say the least. Luckily, Hoboken daycare and after-school program Step By Step has a fun-packed solution. During the school year, SBS functions as a daycare program for kids ages six weeks to preschool, as well as an after-school pick-up service for school-aged children. SBS employees pick-up students and transport them to the center for homework help and group activities. Located in the Monroe Center at 720 Monroe Street in Hoboken, SBS offers a number of programs year-round for children up to nine years old, including a summer camp for kids ages three and up; and when school is out, camp for kids ages three and up is in action! About The Camp
During the summer months of July and August, the SBS summer camp during July and August provides a significant variety of both fine and gross motor daily activities for campers. Your little ones are encouraged to explore the outdoors by embracing the local Hoboken parks and community. On those rainy summer days, the Step By Step school gym gives reprieve ensuring the fun continues, and weekly swim lessons are held at the Sky Club Pool.
Weekly themes and field trips are in place to keep the vivacious spirit going all summer long. This summer’s trips include Van Saun Park, the Franklin Mineral Museum, Splashplex, NYC Gazillion Bubble Show, and more. These trips combine excitement and education, extending the classroom to the summer months.

Each day, students will partake in both physical activities as well as creatively-engaging tasks. Campers experience a summer of non-stop excitement, while also making new friends from across Hoboken and the surrounding towns. SBS concludes their summer camp with a family picnic at Stevens Park where campers and their family can celebrate the end of summer with snacks and a camper lead small show!

Safety Specs
Because safety is of the utmost importance to SBS, they have taken steps to ensure that campers are well-cared for throughout their time at camp. All staff members have been background checked and thoroughly trained to handle emergency situations being CPR and First Aid Certified.
All campers must check-in and check-out using SBS’s ProCare software to ensure that kids are released into the care of the proper person. Allergies and emergency contacts are kept on file for reference.

Dates + Times
Camp begins on July 8th and runs until August 30th, 8:30AM-5:30PM Monday-Friday. The center is also open from 7:00AM-7:00PM for any parent in need of early drop-off and late pick-up. The camp is a duration of eight weeks with the option of choosing how many weeks campers attend. This flexible schedule works well for families going on summer vacations.
An open house will be available for prospective parents and campers on June 2nd, 10:00AM-12:00PM at 720 Monroe Street C212.
