It’s March. There’s still some snow on the ground. And just when we get a little tease of warm weather, the cold air swoops right back in. Anyone else feel like spring weather will legitimately never arrive? Well, have no fear, there’s a light at the end of this freakishly-weird weather tunnel we’re having and it’s called spring break. If you’re itching for beautiful beaches and temps in the mid-80s, it’s not too late to plan your getaway {errr escape?} from the rain, snow, and slush that’s been blanketing the streets of the Hoboken area. Plus, these seven quick and easy spring break getaways are guaranteed to have you there, relaxed, and having some serious fun in just a few hours’ time.
Key West, Florida
Known for its coral reefs, water sports, history, and nightlife, Key West is like New Orleans and New Hope, NJ had a baby that got island fever {aka the perfect fun Spring Break getaway}. Getting there is super simple – and quick! There’s a nonstop flight from Newark to Key West {insert praise hands emoji here}. Another option is to fly into Miami International Airport and take the beautiful drive down U.S. Route 1 straight to sand, sun, and sangria bliss.
