We’re all no stranger to pains resulting from a past injury or from working from your dining room table for too long (thanks, 2020), and a massage can work out those knots and release some of the chaos of 2020. The Spine & Sports Health Center, a medical practice specializing in non-surgical treatment of spine and joint pain, treats each patient with customized care because they know that pain affects each of us differently — including massages. And the massages that The Spine & Sports Health Center offers at the Hoboken location are definitely something to write home about. Keep reading to learn more about the practice, massage therapy offerings, and to schedule an appointment today.
The 411 on Massage Therapy
30-minute massages are $50, 60-minute massages are $100, and their membership program is $64.99 (+tax)/month (which includes a FREE 60-minute massage + 25% discount on all additional massages. Read full terms and conditions here.) The Spine & Sports Health Center is currently offering new massage patients 50% off their first visit, so book your zen sesh ASAP! Click here to book.
The Spine & Sports Health Center created its massage therapy program as a separate division from the rest of the practice, which means you can schedule an appointment just for a massage (yay!) — though we do recommend pain management, chiro, and PT here as well.
Current patients can also schedule appointments as an extra form of rehabilitation, in addition to the medically-guided pain management, physical therapy, sports medicine, and chiropractic services. The practice is open Monday/Wednesday 11AM-7PM, Tuesday/Thursday 12PM-7PM, Friday 11AM-5:30PM, and closed on Saturday and Sunday.
First-Hand Experience from the Hoboken Girl Team
Taylor, from team HG, says:
“An experience I didn’t know I desperately needed. My massage with Christina at The Spine & Sports Health Center helped me relax both mentally and physically. While she worked on me to release knots in my back, shoulders, and arms – I immediately knew I shouldn’t have waited this long to see her in the first place. As we’re all spending a lot of time at home and in front of the computer these days, there are different parts of our health that we now need to pay a little more attention to.
You can tell Christina just cares genuinely cared about the whole experience – from before, during, and after the session. She asked me questions about my body, asked about pressure, and afterward, made sure I was relaxed. Will be heading back to Christina and The Spine & Sports Health Center team STAT. Would recommend her to anyone who needs a mental and physical break. You will be in the BEST hands.”
