Hoboken has no shortage of summer happenings, and one neighborhood-favorite celebration is officially making its return for 2026. Southwest Fest is back this June for its 4th annual celebration in Hoboken’s Southwest neighborhood. The free community block party will once again take over Jackson Street with live music, games, rides, food, performances, local vendors, and activities for all ages. What to Know About Southwest Fest 2026
The 4th Annual Southwest Fest will take place on Saturday, June 6th, 2026, from 12PM to 5PM on Jackson Street between 2nd and 4th Streets in Hoboken. The free event is presented by Hoboken Neighbors, Community Lifestyle, What Hoboken Sounds Like, Hoboken Housing Authority, Main Street Pops, and Councilman Ruben Ramos, with sponsorship from the Hoboken Business Alliance.

Southwest Fest has become a staple summer event in Southwest Hoboken, bringing together neighbors, local organizations, families, small businesses, and community groups for an afternoon of entertainment and activities. This year’s celebration will include music from DJ Bripee, local performances, food, games, prizes, rides, and free family-friendly fun throughout the day.

A Look Back at Southwest Fest
After concerns that Southwest Fest would not return in 2024, Patch reported that community members and local organizers rallied together to bring the neighborhood event back to Jackson Street. Since then, the festival has continued to grow into one of Hoboken’s signature summer celebrations, and now, locals can look forward to it happening again on June 6th, 2026. Attendees can expect a day filled with food, rides, games, entertainment, local vendors, and plenty of community spirit in Southwest Hoboken.
