We don’t normally report hard news as a general rule beyond our Sunday news roundups, but since this has been a topic in question this AM, we’re sharing what we know. Gunshots were fired in Hoboken on Monroe Street between 8th and 9th last night.

In a local Facebook group this morning, residents reported seeing police tape early Sunday, October 11th, and saw investigators on the scene on Monroe Street between 8th and 9th.

“I live on Monroe and 9th and heard about 4 of what I thought were gunshots in the middle of the night,” one Facebook user shared.
