    Pinky

    Pinky

Pinky is a super sweet young girl with puppy-like energy and a lot of love to give! She is about 10 months old and still has a little bit of growing to do. She plays wonderfully with other dogs, and is very polite when meeting them. She loves to play, especially with toys (of any kind)! She is very wiggly and happy when meeting new people. She walks very nicely on a leash, and knows how to sit and lie down on command. She would be a great addition to almost any home!

    Platypuss

    Platypuss

Platypuss is gentle fella who would fit right in living in a calm household.  His favorite activity is moseying around simply observing the things going on around him.  He’d really love a home with some high places he can perch upon to give him an excellent view of the space and his favorite people in it.

Platypuss is also well-suited for a home with other cats.  He currently lives in the free roaming cat room at LHS which is filled with other cats that are around one year plus in age.  While he doesn’t play much, he does seem to enjoy their company and you can spot him cuddling up with his closest friends on a cozy cat bed from time to time.

    Storm

    Storm

Have you fallen for Storm’s interesting mix of Basset Hound/Pit Bull features yet?  In person, they are even more adorable.

Storm is a sweet cuddle bug who absolutely adores her human friends at LHS.  When her volunteer friends come to visit, they report that Storm is a dream to walk.  She is a lady on a leash and always looks to her handler for direction.  She is also completely overjoyed when presented with a toy so we hope her adopters will remember to shower her with tennis balls, Kongs, and so much more!

So definitely make sure to come by the Liberty Humane Society, (located at 235 Jersey City Boulevard in Jersey City), this weekend to visit these adorable animals, and be sure to stop by the Party Animal Fundraiser!
