There’s no question that one of the most empowering things women can do is take control of their health and wellness. The Palisades Women’s Group, located at 1499 Park Avenue in Hoboken, is helping local ladies do just that at their Women’s Wellness Event next week. With special guests, open discussions, gift baskets, and free parking, this event makes it fun and easy to get tons of valuable information about women’s health.

The Palisades Women’s Group has three locations. The first is located at 1499 Park Avenue {on the ground floor of Park + Garden} in Hoboken and the other two locations are both in North Bergen. They specialize in Obstetrics, Gynecology, Wellness, Prenatal Care, and offer ultrasound services at Hackensack UMC Palisades. Their goal is to make all patients feel welcome and to help them stay healthy and informed while providing exceptional medical care.

The Women’s Wellness Event will take place on Thursday, May 10th from 6-8:00PM. You don’t have to be a current patient of the Palisades Women’s Group to attend, all local women are invited. So grab your girls and spend the evening enjoying light refreshments while socializing with other amazing women from the area.

Event attendees will get the chance to meet the OBGYNs, specialists, and staff of the Palisade Women’s Group and ask questions about anything and everything from pregnancy and fertility to general women’s wellness.

There will be a number of guest speakers at the event. Dr. Sam Hessami is the Medical Director of the Palisades Women’s Group and is a double Board Certified urognynecologic surgeon. He also speaks both nationally and internationally on surgical techniques and minimally invasive procedures. That means, he really knows what he’s talking about and is the perfect person to have an open dialogue with about any of your women’s health-related questions.

Dr. Jigna Patel is a doctor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the practice. She has received numerous awards and published and presented papers on a variety of medical topics. She’ll also be there to discuss her experiences and offer advice on ways you can make yourself healthier.

The event is also featuring two of our favorite girl bosses in town, Jacey Lambros and Danielle DeAngelo, founders of JaneDO. They’ll be inspiring attendees to “conquer their goals” which, if you’ve ever taken one of their fitness classes or even just checked them out on Instagram, you know they do every day.

Not only will you be able to get inspired by learning more about your health and wellness, but you’ll also have the chance to win some gift baskets full of serious swag {check them out below}.
