It’s that time of year again. A time to party & reminisce over the past year—with a champagne flute in hand, of course. But where? We’ve selected our top 10 destinations for this Thursday night’s festivities so instead of searching, all you have to worry about is what you’re wearing {and perhaps a reservation or two!}.

1. Anthony Davids || 953 Bloomfield Street {Hoboken}
Anthony David’s is hosting three different seatings again this year for those who like to wine and dine on NYE. Choose from a 3 or 4-course dinner {which get progressively more expensive depdning on time and amount of menu items} at one of our favorite BYOB restaurants. Be sure to reserve your table early before it’s too late.
2. Onieals || 343 Park Avenue {Hoboken}
If you’re not looking to spend an arm & a leg on a ticket for NYE but still want to go out, head on over to Onieals—$10 {$15 at the door}.
3. Battello || 502 Washington Blvd {Jersey City}
For $200 per person, experience an enchanted evening at Battello. From 8:30 PM – 12:30 AM this black tie affair includes a premium open bar, gourmet passed hors d’oeuvres, a photo booth, champagne toast at midnight, hookah lounge & DJ. Sounds like so much fun – especially with this “Alice and Wonderland” theme they have going on!
4. Blue Eyes || 525 Sinatra Drive {Hoboken}
Spend the night on Hoboken’s waterfront {with NYC views!} at Blue Eyes. Enjoy a pre-fixed menu for just $65 per person{+ gratuity} that includes two glasses of wine {or beer} and champagne at midnight! {You know that will include their pizza, which won Best of Hoboken 2015}.
5. Wicked Wolf || 120 Sinatra Drive {Hoboken}
From 8:00pm-1:00am, Wicked Wolf will have a 5 hour open bar, a full dinner buffet, a complimentary champagne toast at midnight, party favors, and a DJ for $95! {+ an after party starting at 1:00am—equipped with late night snacks!}. You can always count on the wolf for a good time.
6. Pilsener Haus || 1422 Grand Street {Hoboken}
Who says kids can’t go out for NYE? Pilsener Haus says they can! {from 4:30pm-8:40pm, that is}. Later on, Pilsener Haus is offering adults table packages for $10 per person (10 person table minimum) or general admission for just $20 per person.
7. Zeppelin Hall || 88 Liberty View Drive {Jersey City}
Zeppelin Hall is offering FREE parking, complimentary party accessories and a DJ all for NO cover. Just no drinking and driving, ladies and gents. The light rail is your best option!
8. House Of Que’ || 340 Sinatra Boulevard {Hoboken}
For a country-themed New Year’s Eve, House Of Que’ is the place to be! New York’s country radio station, NASH 94.7 fm, is hosting the party with special guest, Big Hix. A $75 general admission provides a four hour open bar, champagne toast and breakfast buffet at 3:00AM. The $125 VIP ticket gets you all the general admission perks, with an additional BBQ dinner & reserved table.
9. Barcade || 163 Newark Avenue {Jersey City}
NO cover, oysters, complimentary champagne & games? Sounds like a fun night to us!!
10. Lulu’s || 225 River Street {Hoboken}
Who doesn’t love a Masquerade ball? Especially one with a 5 hour open bar, that is.

There’s a Chicken Wing Contest for Charity Coming to Hoboken on 2/1
After a five-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Hoboken's chicken wing contest is making a return in 2025. Hosted by St. Francis Church and benefitting Fr. Michael Food Pantry, 11 restaurants from around the Mile Square (and one in Jersey City) will compete for the title of "King of Wings." The event will take place on Saturday, February 1st from 6PM-10PM at the Hoboken Elks Club, located at 1005 Washington Street. Event Details
A Wing + A Prayer — a popular Hoboken event that was last held in February of 2020 — will make its return to the Mile Square on Saturday, February 1st, 2025, with proceeds benefiting the Fr. Michael Food Pantry at St. Francis Church. Per a press release, the event will be held from 6PM to 10PM at the Hoboken Elks Club, located at 1005 Washington Street.

So, how does the event work? Eleven restaurants from around Hoboken and Jersey City will be showcasing their chicken wings in a people's choice competition to crown the "best wings in Hoboken." The participating restaurants are as follows:

- Bin 14 | 1314 Washington Street
- Carpe Diem | 1406 Grand Street
- Dark Side of the Moo | 52 Bowers Street, Jersey City
- Farside Tavern | 531 Washington Street
- Ferryman on First | 94 Bloomfield Street
- GTK | 1014 Washington Street
- Johnny Pepperoni | 219 11th Street
- Madd Hatter | 221 Washington Street
- Madison Bar + Grill | 1316 Washington Street
- Tony Boloney’s | 263 1st Street
Those in attendance will vote for their favorite wings, and the winning restaurant gets to take home the trophy to be held at their restaurant until the next event.
The organizers shared with The Hoboken Girl that the pantry provides monthly groceries to families in need, and that the proceeds from this event will help bring back the daily sandwich program.
