After spending time nursing her eight puppies, Mustang Sally is looking to be adopted from Wise Animal Rescue. She’s a young Italian Greyhound mix that could not be more friendly and loving. Ideal Home: Sally needs a family who will shower her in love and provide basic training. She would love to have another calm dog of a similar size to help show her the ropes and a fenced-in yard to play in.

Kids: Age 10 and up
Dogs: Sally does well with other dogs. She is very submissive so another relaxed dog for her to live with would be best.
Cats: Unknown
Crate-Trained: Sally does great in her crate and will go in on her own to relax. She also sleeps through the night with ease.
House Trained: Working on it. She goes outside most of the time but she will have an occasional accident.
Other training: She would benefit from a home with structure and positive reinforcement to help teach her basic puppy manners. She is treat-motivated and will learn quickly. She can be shy at times but with patience and trust, she will blossom into a confident girl.
Leash Manners: She walks very nicely on the leash. When she passes by people on walks, she instantly wags her tail because she wants to say hi. She sometimes gets spooked by loud noises, but quickly puts her focus back on you.

Personality: Sally is the happiest and sweetest pup around! There has never been a person she hasn’t liked. She is loving and docile, and always up for some fun. Her hobbies include cuddling while watching TV with you, and going on walks around the neighborhood. Sally is working on mastering the art of fetch, and her favorite toys are ones that squeak. The only thing she loves almost as much as people is… food! She will do anything for a delicious treat or a bone to chew on. Sally is the ultimate love bug and lights up every room she enters.
Why she/he was brought to the rescue: Sally was rescued from a shelter in North Carolina. She was heavily pregnant and arrived in New Jersey just in time to deliver eight puppies. She spent the last two months taking amazing care of them.
