From 10:30AM-2:30PM, you and your guests can enjoy a Mother’s Day prix fixe menu filled with all of Amanda’s most popular plates. The honey ham eggs benedict is always a favorite as is the banana rum bread for dessert. At $42 per person {plus tax, gratuity and drinks} you surely can’t go wrong with a three-course menu loaded with the best of the best dishes. Be sure to call and make a reservation as space is very limited.

Harborside Sport + Spine

Anthony David’s {953 Bloomfield Street}

Chef Pino is at it again and has curated a delicious brunch prix fixe menu for you and your guests to enjoy on Mother’s Day. For $24.95 per person, diners can indulge in delicious fruit, doughnus, a brunch entrée, and a beverage from 11:00PM-4:00PM. There is no denying the burrata frittata or the challah bread French toast. Remember to BYOB for brunch cocktails.

Hobbs Inc

Apulia {1319 Washington Street}

Apulia is one of Hoboken’s newer Italian restaurants. It has taken the city by storm, serving up some of the most authentic Italian fare this side of the Atlantic. Franco and Frank will be serving up quite a selection from their classic menu. The woodfire oven will be hot and ready to go. The polpo e burrata is always a favorite to start a meal with. We definitely recommend {literally} any of the pizzas, as they are delicious cooked in the woodfire oven. Treat mom to a meal she won’t forget at Apulia. No reservations are required. Remember to bring a few bottles of your fav wine as well. Here’s to hoping the weather is nice, too — the back patio is the perfect place to dine at Apulia.

Bin 14 {1314 Washington Street}

This local favorite will also be serving up quite the brunch menu for its guests this year. Similar to sister restaurant, Anthony David’s, the brunch prix fixe menu will include zeppoles, a small plate, an entrée, + a brunch cocktail from 11:00PM-4:00PM. Each additional brunch cocktail is only $3 each for an hour and a half. If you’re not sure what to pick, might we suggest the wild mushroom frittata or the waffle {complete with maple, berries, and whipped mascarpone}. Enjoy the day with mom at Bin 14.

Birch {92 River Street}

Local favorite Birch will be celebrating Mother’s Day with a delicious brunch. Instead of popping in on Saturday night, swing by on Sunday morning to indulge in menu classics like extravagant shakes, burgers, and more. Be sure to reserve a table via Open Table.

AXIS School of Dance

Coco Havana {32 Newark Street}

Celebrate mom with savory and sweet Cuban dishes during Mother’s Day brunch at Coco Havana.  Plus, there’s no better way to celebrate mom than with a delicious mojito during her brunch. Reserve a space via Open Table.

Cucharamama {233 Clinton Street}

This South American locale will be celebrating Mother’s Day by throwing a wonderful a la carte brunch complete with classic dishes as well as some enticing specials. Our favorite on the menu has to be the pork belly in guava, served with bitter orange adobo over polenta and corn cakes with fresh cheese, Spanish oak honey, and a side of tropical fruit. The restaurant also has quite an exotic drink menu featuring an açai cocktail, cava sangria, and a cava guava {aka a bellini}. Be sure to make a reservation to guarantee a spot.

la isla food

La Isla will begin serving brunch at 10:00AM and will feature its whole Sunday brunch menu. With tons of classic Cuban breakfast dishes, there’s no way you can go wrong coming to La Isla. Omar’s stuffed french toast is delicioso and is stuffed with a strawberry guava cream cheese and baked in a cinnamon cornflake + almond batter. As for brunch cocktails, bellinis, mimosas, and Bloody Marys will be readily available for $5 each. Reservations are recommended.

Napoli’s {133 Clinton Street}

If you and your family decide to enjoy brunch at the downtown Napoli location, mom will eat for free. That’s right —mom’s meal is on the house. If you’ve never had a brunch pizza, Napoli’s is definitely the place to do it. Complete with cheese, bacon, and an over easy egg dripping in the yolk, there’s no better way to start the day. Remember to BYOB and treat mom to something truly special at one of Hoboken’s most iconic Italian spots. Brunch is only available at the downtown location.

Otto Strada {743 Park Avenue}

Otto Strada is the coziest little spot right on the corner of 8th and Park. The restaurant will be offering a three-course prix fixe menu for $42 per person and will also have a $20 children’s menu — so you can take the kids and not break the bank. We literally obsess over the brick oven roasted corn and the zucchini flower and burrata pizza. Both are, most certainly, a must-try. Top it off with the deconstructed cannoli gelato and you will be on cloud nine all day. Treat mom to something truly special when dining here. There two seatings this year — one at 11:00AM and the other at 1:30PM. Please call and make a reservation for Mother’s Day.

Sorellina {1036 Washington Street}

This uptown hotspot has a beautifully curated brunch and a seasonal menu specially crafted for all of the beautiful mamas out there. We’re fans of the ricotta guido {with carrot top pesto, cashews, + stracciatella} and the lamb meatballs with pea purée. Of course, the wine will be perfectly paired for each plate, so be sure to inquire about the best match for your dish. Enjoy this gorgeous restaurant and treat mom to something truly unique and special.

The Cuban {333 Washington Street}

Cuban food is simply the best — the cuisine unique right down to the core and this hotspot boasting delicious Cuban fare is expected to be very busy on Mother’s Day. It is simply impossible to pass up a Cuban sandwich, especially one from here. On the breakfast side, the torrejas {a cornflake + almond crusted tres leches French toast} is a great choice. The Cuban will be open for brunch from 11:00AM-3:00PM. Reservations are definitely recommended.

Urban Coalhouse {116 14th Street}

If you are in the mood for a little uptown action, Urban Coalhouse has a really chill environment and an awesome menu for Mother’s Day. From 11:00AM-4:00PM enjoy a mix of breakfast + lunch options {or you could always throw together eggs + pizza for the ultimate brunch dish}. The avocado toast is a must-try, as are the lemon ricotta blueberry pancakes. The breakfast pizza is proof that there is a heaven on earth. Reservations are definitely recommended to guarantee a spot for your party. Parking is available, too.

Zack’s {232 Willow Avenue}

Zack’s is one of Hoboken’s most iconic restaurants and there is so much history behind the gorgeous corner brownstone building. For Mother’s Day, the restaurant will be serving up items from its brunch menu. With so many different dishes — from eggs benedict to steak + eggs as well as a ton of burger and sandwich options, there’s something for everyone’s palate here. For your sweet tooth, the French toast is especially delicious, complete with caramelized bananas and a chocolate hazelnut drizzle. Be sure to make a reservation, as they are filling up quickly.

Jersey City

Ani Ramen {218 Newark Avenue}

Ani Ramen is offering a sweet deal this Sunday – FREE ramen. Bring mom in for some ramen and her bowl is on the house. More than that, if you decide to dine in the JC or Summit locations, mom will also receive a complimentary ice cream for dessert. GP’s Restaurant Hamilton Park {236 Pavonia Avenue}

GP’s is all about celebrating Mom and is serving up quite a selection of brunch and dinner options. Starting at 2:00PM, enjoy some of Jersey City’s best dishes. They say “it’s {syrup}dipity” when you indulge in the ricotta pancakes and that’s only the beginning. With tons of other brunch and dinner options on the menu, you will just have to get one of everything. We are no stranger to a perfectly made gnocchi {tossed with cherry tomatoes + jumbo lump crabmeat} and GP’s does it right. Make a reservation for Mother’s Day.

Liberty House {76 Audrey Zapp Drive}

This JC restaurant is located in one of the most scenic spots in the area, and what better day to enjoy a beautiful brunch with mom on the Hudson than on Mother’s Day. As usual, the restaurant will be hosting its annual Mother’s Day Buffet Brunch. The selection is immense and offers a wide variety of cheese, fruit, pastries, antipasti, salads, and breakfast. In addition to that, there will be a mashed potato bar, as well as pasta, carving, and seafood stations. Anything that takes place at Liberty House is always a step above and Mother’s Day is going to be an extra special day. Fingers crossed that the weather is nice and you can enjoy the gorgeous surroundings on the Hudson. Brunch will be served from 11:00AM-6:00PM and costs $58 per person {and $26 per child}. Please call to make a reservation.

Matthew’s Food and Drink {351 Grove Street}

Matthew’s will also be serving up brunch for Mother’s Day this year from 10:00AM-3:00PM. From the cheddar jalapeño grits to the lemon ricotta pancakes — now we know you’re drooling — there are so many options to indulge in. In addition to the typical brunch cocktails, be sure to try a No Way Rosé {pisco, gin, elderflower, pear, lemon hibiscus syrup + bitters} or an 80s Glam {gin, passion fruit, lime, lavender, foam + edible glitter}. Reservations are recommended.

Orale {341 Grove Street, Jersey City + 1426 Willow Avenue, Hoboken}

Orale is super proud of its Mother’s Day menu and will be open in both locations this Sunday. With Brunch Happy Hour in full effect, Orale is pleased to host your group in its stunning dining rooms. With tons of taco options — breakfast, carne, vegetarian + so much more, you’ll want seconds. You can’t leave here without trying the guac, which comes in an array of flavors — trust us on this one, you’ll be glad that you did. The agave lime ricotta pancakes are beyond unique and will hit the spot. Orale invites you to join them on Mother’s Day for a celebration you won’t soon forget.

Talde {8 Erie Street}

Talde has partnered with The Glenlivet for Mother’s Day {because who can resist a scotch-tale}. The restaurant will be serving up its Sunday menu as well as tons of delectable specials. This Asian-American locale is a down to earth place to enjoy time with family + friends. It is damn near impossible to choose a favorite plate but if we must — the breakfast ramen {which boasts a brown butter pork broth and honey glazed bacon} is out of this world. Pair that with a complimentary Glenlivet Founders Reserve cocktail + infused chocolate and you’ll be good to go for a long time. Reserve your spot now on Open Table.

The Kitchen Step {500 Jersey Avenue}

This JC restaurant will be accepting reservations for Mother’s Day on its website this year. Enjoy an array of delectable plates {from small to large selections} that will tantalize your taste buds. The Nutella Swirl Buttermilk Pancakes are out of this world and topped with maple syrup and a berry compote. If you are looking for a more savory dish, we would recommend the breakfast burrito {stuffed with scrambled eggs, cheddar, soybeans, + salsa}. Enjoy brunch this Sunday from 10:00AM-3:00PM.

South House {149 Newark Avenue}

south-house-jc-hoboken-girl

South will be celebrating Mother’s Day by throwing a brunch celebration in honor of mom from 12:00PM-3:00PM. With all the decorations of southern hospitality, South House will be serving up quite a selection for brunch this Sunday. If you have been wanting to try chicken + waffles, this is the place to do it. Between the grits and the biscuits, there’s no wrong place to start. And with the special mixed berry French toast, mimosas + bellinis, you will be glad that you booked a reservation for you and your family.

White Star Bar {230 Brunswick Street + 179 Warren Street}

Both White Star Bar locations will be open for business on Mother’s Day and will be hosting a lovely event for all of the wonderful moms out there. Beginning at 11:00AM, the brunch menu will be offered. We are huge fans of the huevos rancheros {fried eggs, guacamole, salsa, cotija, black beans, yellow rice, and tortilla chips} and definitely love the brie omelet. Don’t forget to order a drink — mimosas, bellinis, and bloody Mary’s will be on special all morning.
