Calling all college basketball fans: March Madness officially starts on this week, and Hoboken is so ready for it. ‘Tis the season to start scoping out teams and creating brackets — and no judgment even if you do choose based on the prettiest color combos on uniforms or who has the cutest mascot. If you are in it for the duration and are ready to get your drink on {+ potentially win some moolah}, swing by these bars through April 9th and enjoy the Hoboken March Madness scene.

Snap Fitness JC

Wicked Wolf {120 Sinatra Drive}

Sunday Funday at #Wolf is already a given, and now the tavern is inviting you to join the madness. With 27 TVs and the jumbo projection screen, college basketball fans won’t miss a beat. Offering a few different group packages for every crew that shows up, Wolf will make this year’s matchups something to look forward to. For $30-$35 per person, towers of beer and apps will be available. In addition, $4 call drinks will be available with any package. The Pig and Parrot {77 Hudson Street}

Fairly new to the Hoboken bar scene, Pig + Parrot will be throwing down every Thursday, Friday, + Saturday for the games. Thursdays are jammed pack with fun from bingo to $12 pitchers of Yuengling, + 50 cent wings. If you’re here for the weekend, be sure to get there for Uncle Mike’s Happy Hour every Friday + Saturday from 9:30PM to 11:00PM with $3 shots, beers, wines, + drinks. Plus, The Pig and Parrot is conveniently located right next to the trains for easy access and after work fun.

Urban Coalhouse {116 14th Street}

Urban Coalhouse has the pleasure of offering pizza and booze. This uptown hotspot is always a good time, especially when March Madness is involved. With 10 TVs all around, games will be easy to watch, especially from the bar, which will be your best bet for watching multiple games at once. Happy Hour specials will be offered during every game for the entire tournament.

The Ale House {1034 Willow Avenue}

Ale House will have tons of beer specials during all of the games. This locale is offering $5 personal pitchers of Bud Light, Coors Light, Rolling Rock, Labatt Blue, and Budweiser Copper Lager. The Ale House is also dog-friendly so, feel free to bring your pup and enjoy the games.

Black Bear Bar + Grill {205 Washington Street}

Black Bear invites everyone to come and hang out on March 21st for its Rock Paper Scissors Tourney {yes, you read that right}. The winner will receive a travel voucher to Vegas. Drinks + food specials will be available all day {$4 Konas, $7 Green Tea Shots, $12.99 Pitchers of Bud Lights + $5 Sam ‘76}. Swing by for all of the games throughout the tournament. Black Bear also has 50 TVs plus a 25 ft. high TV wall. If that’s not enough b-ball for ya, we’re not sure what else is.

The Stewed Cow {400 Adams Street}

This neighborhood bar will be featuring quite the selection for every round of the tournament. In celebration of the 64 badass teams to make it in, The Stewed Cow will be offering 64 oz. Coors Light and Yuengling specials. For the second round, the bar will have 32 oz. specials, 16 oz. specials for The Sweet 16, and $3 cans of Narragansett and Recreational Ale for The Final Four. A March Madness showdown is not a party without wing + taco specials, so don’t forget to feed yourself with some of the best Texas-style food this side of the Mississippi.

Mills Tavern {125 Washington Street}

As Hoboken’s official Villanova bar and seeing as that school won it all last year, Nova fans are hopeful for 2019. There will be tons of drink specials like $4 Bud Light drafts, $5 Konas, $6 Stoli drinks, and $12.99 pitchers of Bud Light. The tavern will also have 30 HD TVs for everyone to enjoy the games on. No matter where you sit, you will be able to see any game you’d like but the main bar is the best option in the house. So, if you are a Nova fan or just looking to catch the game, Mills is definitely going to be the place to be.

Cadillac Cantina {80 River Street} + Texas Arizona {76 River Street}

Cadillac and TXAZ will be kicking off the tourney with a four-day event starting on March 21st. Hosted by the one and only, Draft Kings, Cadillac Cantina will have tons of specials, celebrity appearances, and of course, giveaways. Reservations are limited and can be made via the website. Just steps away from NJ Transit and The Path Station, Cadillac is easy to get to right after work or from out of town.

The Shepherd + The Knucklehead {1313 Willow Avenue}

For uptown dwellers, The Shep is the way to go. With 23 TVs playing all of the games, you and your friends won’t know where to look. The best seats in the house are definitely in the garage. {That’s the front part of the bar with all of the windows.} The Shep will have $20 pitchers and .75 cent wings for game-watchers to enjoy throughout the tournament.

Green Rock {70 Hudson Street}

Starting March 22nd, Green Rock will be kicking back for the March Madness games. With .50 cent wings, $12 Domestic pitchers, $25 White Claw buckets, $40 Bomb pitchers and $50 Green Tea Pitchers — whoa basketball fans will be able to enjoy the game and a nice buzz. Located conveniently next to NJ Transit and Path Trains, swing by after work and join the crew.

House of ‘Que {340 Sinatra Drive}

\We love a good country bar and House of Que always knows how to get the party started. On March 21st at 12:00PM, this bar will begin serving its March Madness specials. With $30 buckets of Bud Light, Miller Light and Corona available, you can hang with your friends, watch the games, and eat some awesome BBQ all in one place.

Northern Soul {700 1st Street}

We could never forget about this gem, tucked away from the bar scene in the back corner of Hoboken where locals come to hang out and enjoy some great food and drinks. For the March Madness tournaments, Northern Soul will be serving $3 pints of Narragansetts, $3 Miller High Lifes, $3 PBRs, and more. For those late-night games, don’t forget that the kitchen is open until 1:00AM. Calories don’t count after midnight, FYI.

The Ainsworth {310 Sinatra Drive}

The riverfront is where it’s at this year for all things March Madness. Stop by for your favorite game, drink, + eat here right on the water.  For just $17.99, diners can enjoy unlimited wings per game. As for drinks, The Ainsworth will have $20 sangria pitchers, $20 imported beer pitchers, and $10 domestic beer pitchers. Snag a seat anywhere in the bar to watch your favorite games throughout the tournament.
