One of the best things about living in the Mile Square is the plethora of social activities available. From happy hours to intramural sports teams and fitness classes to book clubs, there are always a variety of ways to enjoy time with friends. But, with commuting time, busy work schedules, and all the other responsibilities adulting requires, it’s also not always easy to expand your circle of friends. That’s why we’re excited to kick off our first ever Find a Hoboken Girl {Friend} Social, taking place on August 8th at Union Hall— an event specifically designed to bring together awesome ladies in Hudson County who want to add some new members to their girl gang. Join us at one of the best waterfront locations in town, Union Hall, for a night of cocktails + drink specials, lite bites, giveaways, and tons of fun. Throughout the night, attendees will participate in our exclusive Hoboken Girl BFF Bingo {basically, a non-awk friend finding game} and get to know and connect with other awesome local ladies.

Here’s how it works…
- From 6:30-7:00PM event attendees will check-in, grab their free drink and their HG BFF Bingo card.
- At 7:00PM we’ll start the HG BFF Bingo activity where you’ll spend time chatting with other event attendees and see what you have in common. Not to worry, this activity isn’t your traditional “Bingo”, but more of a fun way to network and connect with other women at the event. The more spots on your card you get filled the better!
- At 8:15PM we’ll finish up the game, continue mingling, and start announcing the winners of our giveaway items– including our Ultimate Hoboken Girl {Friend} Giveaway, a pass for 2 to all HG Events for the next year!
- Throughout the entire event you’ll also be able to sample delicious food from Union Hall and have access to special happy hour prices to enjoy a wide array of creative cocktails, craft beers, and unique wines.

This small plates gastropub has made the Hoboken Waterfront even better ever since it’s opened. Their drink menu has a mix of unique beers, wines, and cocktails, which means there’s something for everyone. Jacey and Danielle are former Radio City Rockettes who combine their professional dance experience with their experience as athletes and trainers to create fitness classes that leave you strong, long, and lean. Plus, one of their signature classes incorporates trampolines, which is just way too fun.
Salon Gatto
This super-chic salon is located directly across from the Hoboken Path, making it a super convenient spot to get a killer blow out on your way to work. A trip to Gatto is a luxurious experience. They over a full drink menu with wine, beer, coffees, and seasonally infused water– all of which are complimentary. From the warm tea tree oil towels used during a shampoo Oribé hair products, you’ll feel more like you spent a day at the spa than at a hair salon.
