With the holiday season just around the corner, Hudson County residents will be exposed to everything from cozy album releases to full-fledged rock concerts. November is jam-packed with great performances and artists from all over the tri-state area, so mark your calendar and snag your tickets today. November 1st — Julian Velard at 10:00PM @ Fox and Crow

Club Pilates 2023

Comedian and musician Julian Velard will perform at the Fox and Crow in Jersey City this Friday at 10:00PM for “Live in the Parlour.” He’s performed with artists like Jamie Cullum and Paul Carrack and shared the stage with comedians like Will Ferrell and Reggie Watts. November 2nd —RAMAVAAN The Musical at 8:00PM @ Mile Square Theatre

A new musical adaptation of RAMAVAAN by local dancer and choreographer Rimli Roy will be held at the Mile Square Theatre in Hoboken this Saturday. Don’t miss this ode to Indian scripture with themes of love, loyalty, and vengeance. Doors open at 7:30PM and tickets range from $25 to $100. Check out more information here.

November 3rd — Mike Doughty at 8:00PM @ Monty Hall

Singer, songwriter, and producer Mike Doughty will perform Soul Coughing’s Ruby Vroom album as a part of the band’s anniversary tour. Check out this live concert at Monty Hall this Sunday at 8:00PM. Tickets range from $22 to $25 and you can view additional details here.

November 3rd + 4th — JCBT Performance at 4:00PM @ Roy Irving Theatre

The Jersey City Ballet’s fall recital will be set to live music from the Isaac Ezeikel Trio, a classical jazz group based in Hudson County. The event begins at 4:00PM and tickets are $22 for adults, $15 for seniors and artists, and $12 for children. Check out more details and buy tickets here.

November 6th — Rebecca Turner Record Release Show at 7:00PM @ Little City Books

Little City Books will host Rebecca Turner’s record release celebration next Wednesday at 7:00PM. Tickets are $20 and include the show, her new album “The New Wrong Way,” and refreshments. For tickets and more information, head here.

November 6th — James McGill at 8:00PM @ Pig and Parrot

Guitarist and singer James McGill will perform at the Pig and Parrot in Hoboken next Wednesday at 8:00PM. A lead in the band Lifespeed, James regularly takes the stage in Hudson County. Check out more details here.

November 7th — Born: Celebrating the Boss’s 70th Birthday with Brian Kirk and the Jirks at 8:00PM @ White Eagle Hall

Happy Birthday, Bruce Springsteen! New Jersey legends Brian Kirk and the Jirks will celebrate the Boss’s 70th birthday at White Eagle Hall next Thursday at 8:00PM. They will perform Jersey Shore favorites and include special guests {to be announced}. For additional information, head here.

November 8th — Big Wake Album Release Show at 8:00PM @ FM

Rock band Big Wake will debut their self-titled album at FM Restaurant, Bar, and Lounge in Jersey City next Friday at 8:00PM. James Calleo will also open the show with Timi Kendrix, an instrumental Americana trio to close. Check out more information on FM’s website here.

November 9th — Maribyrd + Christina Alessi at 10:00PM @ Finnegan’s

Singer-songwriters Maribyrd and Christina Alessi will perform together at Finnegan’s Pub next Saturday at 10:00PM. Christina opened for Bon Jovi in the early 2000s with her band Hey Tiger and Maribyrd has been showcased in Nashville, Tennessee. For more details about the event, head here.

November 10th — Voices Rise for Refugees Benefit Concert at 5:00PM @ All Saints Episcopal Church

Attend the Voices Rise for Refugees Benefit Concert at the All Saints Episcopal Church in Jersey City on Sunday the 10th at 5:00PM. Local youth will perform to raise funds for a Syrian refugee family in Hoboken through Welcome Home Jersey City. Check out the Facebook event here for details.

November 13th — Skyline Salsa Band at 8:00PM @ FM

Get your salsa on with Skyline Salsa Band, a 13-member ensemble guaranteed to bring the rhythm to the dance floor. FM will host Skyline on Wednesday the 13th at 8:00PM. There will be a $5 cover at the door — view more details here

November 15th — The Feelies at 8:00PM @ White Eagle Hall

Rock band The Feelies will bring the house down again with hits from their 1980s albums Crazy Rhythms, The Good Earth, and more. Get tickets now for $25 to $30 on Friday the 15th at 8:00PM. Check out additional information here.

November 16th — The Event Horizon at 11:00PM @ Willie McBride’s

Try not to lose your voice because The Event Horizon knows not only the hits from each decade but from each genre. The band plays songs from 2000’s hip-hop, EDM, ’80s, and country. November 21st — Latin Music Ensemble at 6:00PM @ New Jersey City University

Students from New Jersey City University will perform original Latin music later this month at Rossey Hall in Room 101 at 6:00PM. The event is directed by Rolando Morales-Mato and free to the public. Register and find out more information here.

November 22nd — Sarah Shook + the Disarmers at 8:30PM @ Monty Hall

Country group Sarah Shook + the Disarmers will perform at Monty Hall on the 22nd at 8:30PM. Spotlighted by VICE, Rolling Stone, and the FADER, this band won’t disappoint. Check out additional details here.

November 23rd — The Last Waltz at 8:00PM @ White Eagle Hall

Various Hudson County musicians will get together on the 23rd at White Eagle Hall to perform The Last Waltz, a concert originally by Canadian-American rock group The Band on Thanksgiving Day in 1978. This is the sixth consecutive year ALEOProductions has put on the event. For more information, head here.

November 29th — Brian Kirk and the Jirks at 11:00PM @ Willie McBride’s

For the second time this month, Brian Kirk and the Jirks will take the stage at Willie McBride’s. They have been covering songs on the East Coast since the early 1990s with Brian and eight band members. The relationship Brian has with his audience is irreplaceable and Hoboken is lucky to host these talented artists. See more information here.

November 30th — Evolution X at 11:00PM @ Willie McBride’s
