Lightbridge Academy is also conveniently located next to a bus stop that leads into New York City via uptown Hoboken.

Home Away From Home

Teachers aim to create a home away from home environment so students can feel comfortable and parents can feel confident with their experience at Lightbridge Academy. The program focuses on providing quality care and a quality learning environment with a rigorous curriculum. Classrooms are guided by a curriculum that encompasses solid academic learning with developmentally appropriate practices designed to cultivate the whole child.

Students will learn through a variety of methods thanks to the proprietary Seedlings Early Childhood Education Curriculum and will experience early learning in the ways that are most developmentally appropriate for their age. Great minds in early childhood education like Maria Montessori, Howard Gardner, and Loris Malaguzzi, influenced the key learnings used in the Seedlings curriculum. The goal of Lightbridge educators is to encourage children with a “learning is fun” philosophy through play and positive reinforcement and build upon skills acquired at various stages of development. Classrooms are designed with learning centers to offer children the ability to engage in teacher-led activities, child-led interests, and individual play.

Health + Safety Come First

The Lightbridge Academy administration provides quality care to ensure everyone in their circle of care is safe. Lightbridge Academy’s core values have drawn together thousands of parents, children, staff, owners, and communities to form the supportive relationships necessary for children and families to thrive.

The center features the most advanced 3-in-1 air purification and filtration system, the MicroCon 600, which is installed jointly with the HVAC systems and uses Advanced Oxidation Technology. It continuously produces ionized hydrogen peroxide molecules, which are distributed to every square foot of space, creating a “clean room” environment. The Micro-Con 600 covers the entire center by destroying harmful viruses and bacteria within the air.

The Lightbridge Promise

The Lightbridge Promise is a six-point health and safety gold standard of the child care industry. This standard requires the premises to be cleaned throughout the day, sanitized with an air purification and filtration system, secured via state-of-the-art security and entry system, and inspected via the quality assurance program. Members of the staff are CPR + First Aid certified and combined with company transparency each facet of The Lightbridge Promise works together to ensure a happy family experience.

In an effort to emphasize that promise of health and wellness, Lightbridge Academy of Willow Ave has its own private and secure outdoor play area, coded secure entry equipped with a facial recognition scanner for enhanced security + large and spacious classrooms.
