    About Libra

Libra is the seventh sign of the Zodiac and rules the house of partnership in our chart. Part of Libra’s vision is to bring harmony and balance. It also influences marriage and other contracts alike. With its ruling planet being Venus, Libras aim to create balance and peace while being quite charming.

The element of Libra is Air, which influences communication and the mind. Air is the element that connects all other elements, and that fits this social justice warrior just fine. Libra’s are known for their attractiveness, whether it is by the gift of gab or simply their physical appearance. Much like the air around us, Libras love to connect and many do so by flirting.

Another detail of the Libra personality is that they have a “cardinal” quality. Of the three qualities, {the other two being fixed and mutable} cardinal denotes initiation. As they begin the seasons, in Libra’s case —all — they usher in change and transformation. Because they bring us the cool weather of autumn, they are also familiar with the natural decay of life to bring forth something new.

In the Tarot deck, Libra’s ruling card is Justice. This card signifies balance {Libras are the scale} and even-handedness in not only legal matters but life itself. The feeling around this card is fair and motivated, signifying a Supreme Court Justice of the highest moral esteem. Holding both a sword {signifying the air element} and the scales, this card is a no brainer for Libra.

Some famous Libras you might have heard of are as charming as they come. Kim Kardashian, for example, is the epitome of the attractiveness a Libra can display, making an entire empire out of her look. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a great representation of a Libra’s will to fight for what is just and right in this world, ushering in a new generation of activists with her politics. Another Libra is none other than Snoop Dogg, who’s written some of the most iconic hip hop songs of all time — rapping is full Libra flair.
