The facilities at Jeff Lake won’t just win your kids over; they’ll win you over, too. Aside from its lake-centric options, Jeff Lake Camp is complete with seemingly endless activities and programs such as:

  • Science programs
  • Archery range
  • Drama playhouse
  • Sports fields + tennis courts
  • Dance and gymnastics programs + equipment
  • Fine arts complex with art and pottery studios
  • Five {yes, five} heated pools.

The 350-acre campus also features:

  • A 50-acre lake
  • Modern kitchen + cooking facility
  • Dining pavilion
  • Yoga studio
  • Mini golf course

Of course, the day camp wouldn’t be complete without lake activities, which vary depending on age range. Younger campers may frolic in a shallow cove with beach toys, while older campers can challenge themselves by tackling the enormous, inflatable lake playground or learning to sail. More water-centric activities are offered as well — including kayaking, canoeing, paddle boating, and more, making Jeff Lake Camp perfect for campers with a wide variety of interests.

One of the most unique aspects of Jeff Lake is that the camp has been privately owned by the same family for the past 62 years. With an expert team that demonstrates leadership and guidance — comprised of teachers, social workers, guidance counselors, and other professionals — employees altogether have accrued more than 700 years of Jeff Lake Camp experience. Some of the staff have been at Jeff Lake for over 40+ years!

With no shortage of pools, the swim program at Jeff Lake is one of the biggest draws to sending your child to camp. Don’t worry —swimming and water safety are big concentrations at the program and instruction is provided for swimmers of all levels. So if your child isn’t the strongest swimmer, never fear {but they just might be after a summer at Jeff Lake}. With a background of 60+ years in building competent and confident swimmers, the Jeff Lake swim program offers step-by-step skill development for all swimming campers. Pools are also depth-controlled so younger campers can always stand comfortably.

Hoboken Pick-ups

Perhaps one of the biggest advantages of sending your kiddos to Jeff Lake is its local pick-ups. Jeff Lake has several camper pick-up locations throughout Hoboken and all camp-sanctioned vehicles have seat belts, air conditioning, and are driven by professional school bus drivers. Multiple staff members are present on each vehicle and spearhead games, dress-up days, and other onboard activities.
