We are in the season of good weather, cold drinks, and live music {+ it’s about time!}. The Historic Downtown Special Improvement District of Jersey City is hosting Groove on Grove {JCFridays edition}, a city-wide arts festival and market, this Friday, June 7th from 3:00PM-10:00PM. There will be live performances and local vendors at the Grove Street PATH Plaza in Jersey City, as well as art from local artists displayed in galleries, stores, and restaurants around the city. This event is part of the citywide FREE ARTS EXTRAVAGANZA JC Fridays — organized by Art House Productions. Read on to get a sneak peek at the vendors, performers, and artists you’ll see this week.
Performance Schedule at Groove on Grove this Friday, June 7th:

Drinks {beer and liquor} will be provided by some of our faves, such as SOUTH HOUSE Bar & Restaurant, Porta Jersey City, and Orale Mexican Kitchen.
From 3:00PM-10:00PM you can check out the unique vendors for a fun outdoor shopping experience. You’ll find local artisans with a wide variety of handmade items including vintage, art, fashion, and more.

A Sneak Peek into a Few Vendors:
Axol and Friends is a socially-conscious startup that designs characters in the image of endangered plant and animal life. Their goal is to raise awareness for rare, endangered species while also raising money to empower the current youth to be activists and environmental conservationists.
Bucks County Flowers and Things
This vendor will be offering a free terrarium demonstration at their booth. They are experts in design + home decor using fresh flowers and succulents.
Outer Limits Hot Sauce is a father + son owned and operated business based out of NJ. They make all natural, vegan, gluten-free hot sauces.
ulloo New York is a premium Italian-leather handbag brand that empowers bag lovers’ to customize their own style from uniquely designed modular handbags. Their modular design allows every part to be interchangeable. It’s like having a different bag every day – simply by changing a flap or strap with the same body.
Letterati is a bespoke design studio focused on visual branding and expressive typography. They believe there’s magic in working with your hands to create unique pieces of art. They use their design and production expertise to create stories that matter.
