    The weekend is finally here! Woohoo! Here’s a few things happening around town this weekend:

    1. First Annual Hoboken Wiffle Ball Tournament Saturday, June 21 at 10AM

    Join hMAG, Miller Lite and ABL for Hoboken’s First Annual Wiffleball Tournament at 1600 Park Ave in Hoboken! 3-5 person teams will participate in Round Robin tournament at $75 per team.  After party at The Ale House with Free Miller Lite Drafts from 2-4pm for each team.     2. Free Mini Facials and Makeup Applications at Luxe Face & Body:  Saturday, June 21st from 12-5pm

    Join Luxe Face & Body, Suki Skincare & Vincent Longo Cosmetics for a complimentary day of pampering on 1st street.

    A very special Suki Specialist will be joining the Luxe ladies from 1-3pm showing you special skincare tricks including a summer skin saver.  You can follow your mini facial with a makeup application by Sharon, Makeup Artists from Vincent Longo Cosmetics, who will be here from 12pm-5pm offering FREE SUMMER MAKEOVERS!

    3. Dance Benefit for the Hoboken Shelter Saturday, June 21 at 3:00PM

    Every Little Movement Academy of the Arts will host this 15th bi-annual gathering of its students age 3-12 along with professional guest artists. This year’s guests include a professional dance company from New York, Rae Ballard Thoughts in Motion, and dancers from Dances by Isadora, a dance company dedicated to sharing the work of legendary modern dance pioneer, Isadora Duncan. ELMAA’s young students will have the opportunity to dance alongside professional dancers and share the experience of performing on stage together. Proceeds from the event will go in benefit of the Hoboken Shelter.

    This year’s event is danced in memory of the 200th anniversary of the birth of Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi (1813-1901) and in loving memory of renowned Italian conductor Claudio Abbado, who passed away on January 20th of this year at the age of 80.

    4. Your Charming Child — Etiquette Workshop for Children at Malibu Diner Sunday, June 22 at 3:00PM

    Polite and courteous children? Yes please!

    Class includes a three-course meal and will cover the topics of place settings, identifying utensils and glassware, proper use of napkins, selecting the correct utensils, difficult to eat foods, eating various foods including bread, soup and dessert, behavior at the table, proper seating, entering and exiting, posture and conversation, leaving the table and styles of dining: American, continental and buffet.

    3-course meal ($15 food fee). Spring Special: $99 per child (reg. $120); sibling and referral discounts.

    The classes are open to boys and girls ages 8 through 12. Class size limited to six students to ensure personalized attention. Classes are 2 hours long. Little kids’ workshops sold separately.

    5. Zumba Party for TRUE Mentors Sunday, June 22 at 3:00PM

    Dance your butt off for a good cause!

    Come join the party at 301 Garden Street for only $10 a person? All proceeds go to TRUE Mentors, a one-on-one child/adult mentoring program. Instructed by the great Susan Pascale–it’s sure to be a great time!
