Train Crashes into Hoboken Terminal

Written by:

A very sad and scary scene this morning in Hoboken. Not all details are known as this is a developing story, but we do know that a Pascack Valley line train crashed into the Hoboken Terminal (Track #5) at full speed during rush hour Thursday AM. We were there as first responders arrived to help those affected during the horrific scene.

More than 100 people were reported hurt, some critically, [Update: 1 confirmed dead per Hmag | previously reported that 3 confirmed dead], and others remained trapped. Emergency workers and first responders rushing to the scene. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected. Such a horrifying day for the mile square.

Commuters please note: the PATH train is closed in Hoboken until further notice due to the worry of the train station collapsing on top of the PATH station. There is no power in the train station. Please be safe.
