You’re hot and you’re cold. This could be your throwback jam of the day courtesy of Katy Perry or it could be the internal battle of how you approach dressing for the next few weeks while the seasons adjust. In regards to style, you can cautiously enter sweater weather with the perfect piece, the knit kimono. It brings a bit of bohemian to everything you pair it with and can be layered over almost anything to give your outfit a more “put together” effect while also making sure your temperature is regulated.

Up the luxe of a denim ensemble by pairing this over a simple tee or in this case, a lace one! The subtle texture gives the look dimension and with the finishing touch of some vibrant accessories you don’t really have to let the sun set on summer.

By pairing this sweater over a sleeveless dress, it gives something that might otherwise be tucked away for 70 degrees and above, another outfit opportunity.

Edgy layered necklaces, ankle booties and a hint of mint make this mix eclectic and energetic.

Her roots in the area extend to her maternal grandparents, who owned two textile factories in Weehawken and North Bergen. When not planning the next Hoboken Girl event/volunteer project or editing her life away, she can usually be found shopping at local boutiques, eating an Insta-worthy meal, walking her French bulldog + rescue pup, or watching the latest murder doc on Netflix with her husband.

    • Good morning Jennifer,
I run a non profit company which creates burlap tote bags and pillows , selling them to raise funds and awareness for the fight against human trafficking and education in Cambodia. I would like to send you a tote, would you give me a PO box or mailing address so I can send you a bag and if you felt it was a fit for your site, of course we would appreciate the publicity. I live in Franklin Lakes NJ and all of our products are made in NJ.
