The temps may be getting lower as we near the end of the year, but the amount of holiday events just keep growing. This weekend, you’ll find no shortage of things to do whether you want to have a boozy brunch with Santa at Birch, hear some festive music to get you in the swing of things this holiday season, or get cozy inside of the igloos at Pilsener Haus. The Garden Street School of Performing Arts presents A Hoboken Tale at The Hudson Theater {601 Park Ave}. It’s a musical about the spirit of giving right here in the Mile Square. Holiday Pop-Up Sip & Shop Market: Friday, December 15th from 5:00PM-8:00PM

Andco is hosting a holiday market this weekend {Saturday too} at &co {201 Montomery Street, second floor} so you can get all your holiday shopping done in one stop. From home goods to florals and jean jackets, you’ll get everything checked off your shopping list here. There will also be refreshments by Bruxo Mezcal.

Hoboken High School Holiday Concert: Friday, December 15th at 7:00PM

Get in the holiday spirit with Hoboken High School’s and Hoboken Middle School’s holiday concert this weekend at Hoboken High {800 Clinton Street}. Admission is $5 a person and will feature holiday classics and even a few songs from Broadway.

HOPES Winter Market: Saturday, December 16th from 1:00PM-6:00PM

HOPES Community Action Partnership is hosting a Winter Market at the David E. Rue Building {301 Garden Street} highlighting local entrepreneurs and businesses. In addition, TRUE Mentors and teens will be face painting. Vendors include a beauty and wellness consultant, jewelry makers, bakers, and even a physical therapist. JCTC Kids Presents Mishka Opening: Saturday, December 16th through January 13th

The children’s programming division of Jersey City Theater Center (JCTC) presents an international tale bound to make any holiday season complete at Merseles Studios {339-345 Newark Avenue}. JCTC-KIDS Presents Shadow Theatre is a live, story-telling experience where fairytales, folklore and children’s literature from around the world are performed using shadow puppets – a form of puppetry that dates back to ancient times. Prime has organized a Toy Drive and Ride with PKL Properties in Hoboken. The ride is Saturday 12/16 at 12:15pm Uptown {1025 Maxwell Lane}. The private ride is invite only and I would love for you and anyone from your team to come!  All you have to do is bring an unwrapped gift that will be donated to Toys for Tots and enjoy a good sweat with Prime owner Julie!  If you or anyone from your team want to attend let me know and I’ll reserve your spot!

Cantigas Women’s Choir Concert Debut in Jersey City: Saturday, December 16th at 7:30PM

Hudson County’s Cantigas Women’s Choir presents its 16th annual winter concert, Winter Roses, at St. Paul Lutheran Church {440 Hoboken Ave}. There is a suggested donation of $20 and $10 for seniors and kids. This is the first major concert for the group of 50 women in Jersey City, which is comprised of diverse backgrounds, professions, and ages. Get more info here.

Roig Gallery Art Pop-Up at West Elm: Sunday, December 17th from 12:00PM-6:00PM

Ricardo is hosting a Pop Up! at West Elm in Hoboken {1420 Willow Ave} and will be showing new works inspired by the Mile Square including “Armenian Bar in Florence” and “Sinatra Park Sunset.” Most importantly, come support Ricardo because the better the turnout, the more likely he’ll be invited to show his art at the DUMBO West Elm in Brooklyn.Plus, the first five visitors will receive a small original work of art. Keep the party going with an after party at Carpe Diem.

39 Steps at Mile Square Theatre: Through Saturday, December 23rd

If you’re ready for a laugh this holiday, catch Mile Square Theatre’s {1400 Clinton Street} newest show — Alfred Hitchcock’s classic thriller, 39 Steps. The cast includes Joe Delafield (Tartuffe on Broadway), Helen Hayes Award Winner Zachary Fine, Evan Zes (Signature Theatre’s Incident at Vichy), and Hoboken’s Alycia Kunkle. The show runs through December 23rd. Pilsener Haus Igloos: Opening This Weekend

Igloos will be back at Pilsener Haus this winter! These igloos, available by reservation only, are a fun way to enjoy the impending winter season and not freeze your booty off whilst drinking al fresco in January. Rent an igloo, then enjoy menu items including an array of brats, sausages, and schnitzel, as well as giant Bavarian soft pretzels {a must, IMHO}. Beer connoisseurs will enjoy sipping on 20 premium drafts or 50 European and American craft beers by the bottle. Two to three igloos will be set-up on December 14th and reservations can be made by calling 201-683-5465.

Kids Ride Free on NY Waterway Through January 1st

Check out the Nous Deux/Ndioune Ndiare Art Gallery at the hob’art Gallery {720 Monroe} for a fun indoor activity. The exhibit will feature the newest work of Ibou and Liz Ndoy, who are a recently married couple that have had the unique opportunity of working side by

All entry fees will go to the Dustin and Daniel Friedland scholarship fund.
