Whether you just aren’t feeling it this Thanksgiving holiday or are too burnt out to even consider cooking a large feast, there are some great Hoboken and Jersey City {+ Bayonne!} restaurants open on Thanksgiving — serving up a variety of delicious meals. So if you need a little help with the food prep this year OR just want to enjoy a meal out instead of working away in the kitchen, we’ve rounded up places that will be open on Thanksgiving in Hoboken and Jersey City – for turkey, sides, and dessert:

Hoboken

{Dine In}:

Amanda’s: Amanda’s will be open on Thanksgiving from 1-9, {so get those reservations in now}, featuring a 3-course prix fixe menu for $55/pp that is chock full of choices, including sweet potato soup or roasted acorn squash for an appetizer. Their entrees will be set for all dietary needs including turkey, vegetable lasagna, salmon with beurre blanc and braised short rib. Don’t forget your sweet tooth {as if you would} with your choice of apple strudel with vanilla ice cream, deconstructed pumpkin pie, chocolate panna cotta or ginger carrot cake.

Del Frisco’s Grille: Del Frisco’s offers a 3-course prix fixe menu this holiday for $42/pp {$15/child} featuring butternut squash bisque, slow roasted turkey breast, sage apple sausage stuffing, sweet potatoes and pumpkin cheesecake. The full dinner menu will also be available in case you are seriously craving a steak {it happens} or some artichoke beignets {#noms}.

Anthony David’s: Anthony David’s offers a few options when ordering your turkey this Thanksgiving: the first is a slow roasted turkey in a range of 3 serving sizes, accommodating anywhere from 4 to 18 guests max. The second option for 4-6 people is the turkey porchetta {a turkey breast stuffed with prosciutto, spinach, garlic, currants and pecorino}. Anthony David’s also has a variety of savory soups and sides for groups of 4-6 or 6-8 guests, including roasted butternut squash soup with granny smith apples, pumpkin tortellini pasta, mini buttermilk biscuits, smashed yams with brandy and marshmallows and many more, as well as a variety of pies for dessert ranging from cherry crumb to traditional pumpkin.

{Don’t Forget Dessert!}

Carlo’s Bakery: This neighborhood hot spot offers pies for all of your cravings this holiday, including chocolate pecan pie, apple pie, buttercream turkey cake {yes, it looks like a large frosted turkey}, and of course the classic pumpkin pie in addition to other fall-themed pastries and cookies. Desserts can be picked up the week of November 20-26, including Thanksgiving. They have a holiday dinner pack {which includes two six-inch pies of your choices, cupcakes, and a cannoli box}, pumpkin doughnuts, personal cheesecakes, and so much more. And remember: Show your Hoboken ID and you get to skip the line! {Serious win.}

Giorgio’s: Another old-school bakery in uptown Hoboken that is open on Thanksgiving. Tip: Get the cannolis; you won’t be disappointed.

Jersey City

{Dine In}:

Satis Bistro: This eatery in Paulus Hook will be featuring their regular menu {with fresh pasta supplied by Pasta e Vino} plus a 3-course prix fixe menu for $55/pp {featuring a butternut squash tart with cranberry gastrique, fennel sausage and brioche stuffing, Brussels sprouts with roasted apples and spiced pecans and butterscotch budino [a layered dessert made with butterscotch custard and salted caramel sauce] for dessert.

South House: This Southern spot will be offering both family-style and prix-fixe menus {including choice of beer or wine for $35/pp} for groups of 6 or more — with three seating options at 4:00, 6:00 and 8:00PM. Dinner includes roasted butternut squash soup with crème fraiche and turkey {of course} with all of the down-home favorites like sweet potato casserole, cornbread stuffing, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, and your choice of bourbon pumpkin pie, pecan pie, or chocolate bread pudding for dessert.

Hamilton Pork: While they won’t be open for Thanksgiving, Hamilton Pork is offering fully-cooked Turkeys {to be picked up on Tuesday} and sides and other dishes for T-Day {to be picked up by Wednesday}.

{Have it Catered}:

Hudson Hall: Jersey City’s new smokehouse is catering Thanksgiving dinner this year; takeout includes a smoked and roasted turkey with stuffing and gravy {and sides for six or 12}, featuring the classics like green beans, corn on the cob, sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce; as well as your choice of apple or pumpkin pie.

For Dessert:

Cocoa Bakery: This delectable bakery will be open on Thanksgiving offering all of your favorite goodies including pumpkin whoopie pies, sweet potato pie, cranberry pear pie and a variety of tarts – get yours to go before they close at 2 pm on the holiday.

Milk Sugar Love Creamery: This sweet spot in Jersey City is offering up some Thanksgiving goodies that you won’t want to pass up. Returning this season is an all-time favorite – their Carrot Cake Ice Cream Cake filled with a thick wedge of carrot cake, cream cheese ice cream, toasted coconut, and salted caramel sauce…wow. Orders must be placed by 6:00PM on Monday, November 20th and picked up on Wednesday, November 22nd, before 6:00PM.

Weehawken:

{Dine In}:

Molos Restaurant: This riverside restaurant offers a great view plus the traditional turkey dinner prix fixe menu from 1:00-9:00PM including a turkey and pomegranate soup, chestnut and turkey confit stuffing, Brussels sprouts, sweet potato mash, and coconut or pumpkin pie for dessert. The regular menu with a large variety of fresh seafood is also going to be offered.

Bayonne:

Little Food Café: This popular Bayonne eatery is serving up Thanksgiving dinner delivered to your door– get the uncooked turkey dinner which includes a seasoned turkey ready to be put in the oven {removing the gross part of turkey prep—thank gawd}, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, and cranberry sauce {also featuring gluten-free mushroom gravy as an option}. If you are flying solo, splurge on the individual {cooked} dinner for $21.95 which includes turkey and all of the sides. Other sides to-go include whipped sweet potatoes, LFC sausage apple stuffing, and gluten-free harvest quinoa {and more}, as well as homemade pies for dessert.

Judicke’s Bakery: No one would try to dispute the deliciousness that is this town favorite, which is always open on holidays. Get your fix of fresh cakes and pies and, of course, a dozen doughnuts topped with a variety of colored sprinkles.
