Happy November! Halloween is finally under our belts, marking the beginning of the holiday season. While we’ve got a few weeks to go until Thanksgiving, there is still plenty to do around town to keep you busy during fall. From a Christmas show at Mile Square Theatre {already, we know, we know – but it’s Broadway!} to the newest place for bottomless brunch, there’s a lot to scope out this weekend. Here are 17 things to do in Hoboken and Jersey City this weekend [November 2nd – November 5th, 2017]:

Underground Up Closing Reception/Artist Talk: Thursday, November 2nd from 4:30PM-7:30PM

It’s the final night to view the month-long exhibit at the Visual Arts Gallery {100 Culver Ave} with work displayed from three artists: Mustart, Clarence Rich, and DISTORT. The trio collaborated on this gallery project to connect classical art with contemporary street culture. Get more info here.

November Yappy Hour at The Ale House: Friday, November 3rd from 7:00PM-9:00PM

All pups and their humans are welcome to the November Yappy Hour at The Ale House {1034 Willow Ave.} from 7-9PM. Get your $5 wristband at the door for drink specials and 100% of wristband proceeds will go to the Liberty Human Society. Dogs + booze = sure to be a great time. 

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever at MSTFriday, November 3rd at 7:00PM

It’s already that time to think about Christmas, so kick off the holiday season with The Best Christmas Pageant Ever: The Musical presented by the Hoboken Children’s Theater Company and Broadway Licensing at Mile Square Theatre {1400 Clinton Street}. The musical is based on the childhood story by Barbara Robinson, and is about two kids who crash Sunday school and demand to have roles in the Christmas pageant. Paint & Sip with Mixed Medium Art at Rose Creations Gallery: Friday, November 3rd at 7:00PM

Rose Creations Gallery {152 Martin Luther King Dr.} is hosting a paint and sip on Friday night from 7-10PM. Guests will create a mixed medium canvas using acrylic paint, spray paint, and fabric while sipping some wine. There is a $30 all-inclusive fee due at the beginning of the class. Register here.

Sips, Nips, and Salsa at Temple Beth-El: Saturday, November 4th at 7:00PM

Join Temple Beth-El {2419 John F Kennedy Blvd.} for a saucy night of mystery bags, wine pull, and a silent auction to benefit Temple Beth-El. Tickets will include five tastings; choose from tequila, wine, and gourmet chocolate. Guests will also enjoy artisanal salsas and additional snacks with their drinks. Advance tickets are $30, and door tickets are $40 the night of the event.

The Art of Gold Supporting Puerto Rico: Saturday, November 4th from 12:00PM-5:00PM

Puerto Rico still needs your help, so head out to Grayscale Studios to bring home a new piece of art and support the cause at the same time. There will be a donation stand, tasty food from La Isla, and a portion of art sales will benefit Puerto Rico. Register for the FREE event here.

Barre to Blowout at The Barre Method: Saturday, November 4th at 2:00PM

Salon Gatto and The Barre Method have teamed up to give you the ultimate girl’s day: barre and blow outs! The event starts with a mixed-level barre class {86 River Street}, and then the fun will move over to Salon Gatto for a fresh blowout and mimosa bar, of course. Bin Bottomless Brunch: Saturday, November 4th from 10:00AM-4:00PM

There’s a new bottomless brunch spot in town, and it’s not messing around. Bin 14 is joining the bottomless brunch crew starting this Saturday. For $29, you’ll get a small plate, an entree, and unlimited mimosas, bellinis and bloodys for 90 minutes. They’ll offer this deal every Saturday and Sunday. Check out their menu here. 

One Art Hoboken: Saturday, November 4th at 8:00PM

Daniel Thomas Live at Maxwell’s: Saturday, November 4th at 8:30PM

New Jersey native Daniel Thomas is performing live at Maxwell’s {1039 Washington St.} on Saturday night. Enjoy this up and coming hip-hop artist and some fun drink specials. Doors open at 8:30PM and the show will start at 9PM. Get tickets here.

Back to the Future Music Festival at The Factory Restaurant and Lounge: Sunday, November 5th

Come out to The Factory Restaurant and Lounge {451 Communipaw Ave.} for drinks and the best music all night long. Three different DJ’s will be spinning house/club music, hip-hop, and R&B from the 80s to present music. The event is $10 in advance but be sure to check out all of their awesome bottle service options here.

Bike the Hoboken Artists’ Studio Tour at Hoboken City Hall: Sunday, November 5th

The city of Hoboken is hosting a free city-wide self-guided tour of artists’ studios, galleries, and group exhibitions. Walking this tour is  fun, but biking is even better {read: faster}. Meet with Bike Hoboken at noon at City Hall {94 Washington St.} to pick up a map and the tour will start from there. If you don’t have a bike, you of course can use the Hudson Bike Share.

NJMOM Baby Expo: Sunday, November 5th from 10:00AM-2:00PM
