The Grind Society’s 5K Training Program

The Grind Society, located in Bergen Lafayette of Jersey City, is an extension of the neighborhood Grind Coffee Shop and has created a friendly community designed to establish discipline and bring the community together through wellness. Starting June 5th, you can join their 5K training program which meets every Monday and Wednesday at 6:00AM at Berry Lane Park (at the football field), located at 1000 Garfield Ave in Jersey City. Plus, the community has additional workouts on off days that will supplement your training, strength training, yoga classes and group runs (not included in the program pricing). Hoboken Business Alliance’s ‘Through The Windows’ Art Walk

The Hoboken Business Alliance presents ‘Through the Windows’ Art Walk program, a six-week public event transforming Hoboken into an expansive live public gallery. From now until June 15th, over 90 storefront windows will be transformed with works from over 75 local artists on display curated by Main Street Pops and hung by Barksy Gallery. Residents and visitors can scan the QR code on the round window + sidewalk stickers to see a detailed map of the participating storefronts as well as more info about the artists and their work. Plus, there will be free guided art tours by foot to discover highlights of #AHobokenArtWalk, and a chance for participants to play Art Bingo and enter to win a $50 gift card to the business of their choice.
