We’re just a few weeks away from Easter weekend as we look ahead to April and lots of spring activities in Hudson County. Whole Spectrum Autism, a local nonprofit that’s on a mission to promote autism acceptance and inclusion, is hosting two special events for the community this April. On Tuesday, April 4th at 1:30PM, the Autism Acceptance flag raising ceremony will take place at City Hall in Jersey City to officially kick off Autism Acceptance month. Then, the 8th Annual Light the Month Blue event will take place at Newark Avenue Pedestrian Mall on Friday, April 7th at 7PM — in which the pedestrian mall will be lit in blue. The free event gives families with adult children with autism an opportunity to be recognized, receive the support they deserve, and mingle with other families while enjoying some pizza.

Bright Horizons’ Open House Event

The Laugh Tour Comedy Club located inside Dorrian’s Red Hand at 555 Washington Boulevard in Jersey City has four shows this weekend on Friday, March 31st at 7:30PM and 9:45PM and Saturday, April 1st at 6:30PM and 9:00PM. All shows are hosted by comedian Rich Kiamco and will feature comedians from Adult Swim, Comedy Central, HBO, Edinburgh Fringe, Gas Digital, Stand Up NY, Boston Comedy, Sirius XM, and Last Comic Standing.
