Hoboken Business Alliance and Main Street Pops invite you to the first annual Hudson River Showcase which will take place this Sunday, June 11th from 10:00AM-2:00PM along lower Sinatra Drive (between Newark and Fourth Streets) in Hoboken. The free event will feature a curated collection of over 100 vintage and classic luxury automobiles from Pre-1959 through the 1990s lining the riverfront with the scenic backdrop of the Manhattan skyline. The cars are curated by Cars + Caffe and local sponsors include Engel + Volkers and Mission 50. Make sure you let them know The Hoboken Girl sent you.

Hudson Pride Center Celebrates 30 Years

Hudson Pride Center, located at 3000 John F. Kennedy Blvd, Suite 306 in Jersey City is celebrating 30 years of promoting the health and empowerment of LGBTQ+ people in the Hudson County community. This local nonprofit, community-based organization was started in 1993 to help provide a sense of security, safety, and well-being to Hudson County’s LGBTQ+ community and is the largest LGBTQ+ social services center in New Jersey. The team works tirelessly to provide mental + physical health resources, HIV/PrEP services, mental health referrals, HRT and other gender-affirming assistance, food and toiletry supplies, and housing and shelter support.

The Laugh Tour Comedy Club located inside Dorrian’s Red Hand at 555 Washington Boulevard in Jersey City has four shows this weekend on Friday, June 9th at 7:30PM and 9:45PM and Saturday, June 10th at 6:30PM and 9:00PM. Turner Sparks hosts Friday and Cynthia Levin hosts Saturday  and will feature comedians from HBO, Funny Women of a Certain Age, Adult Swim, NY Comedy Festival, Training Day Comedy, Tiny Cupboard, Tru TV, NYCF Comics to Watch, Ask Me Another, Hollywood Improv, and Comics to Watch. The Laugh Tour Comedy Club at Dorrian’s Red Hand is proud to participate as a sponsor for this year’s Jersey City Comedy Festival taking place on June 7th through June 10th. The festival will be held at two Jersey City locations, The Laugh Tour Comedy Club at Dorrian’s Red Hand, located at 555 Washington Boulevard and Art House Productions located at 345 Marin Boulevard. The festival features a stand up comedy competition with 48 comics from across the country with three headliners Chris Gethard, Rex Navarrete, and Marina Franklin. Audiences will be able to vote for their favorite comedian at each stand up showcase and follow them from start to finish to help them win the festival.
