With June in full swing, summer is just a few weeks away here in Hudson County and there are a lot of happenings occurring. Tsujita’s New Sushi Menu Launching Mid-June

Tsujita, located at 2034 Lemoine Avenue in Fort Lee, will be launching a new sushi menu in mid-June which will include Japanese-style chirashi boxes and hand roll Maki. Originating in Tokyo, Tsujita started as a single ramen shop and has since expanded as a global empire with 83 locations in Japan and 11 different locations in the US — with Fort Lee being its first East Coast restaurant. Tsujita restaurants are BYOB and house four different styles of ramen including the Tsujita Artisan Noodle which features its original tsukemen recipe with unami and broth that is simmered for 15 hours daily to create richness.

Jersey City Comedy Fest

Art House Productions is proud to announce the annual Jersey City Comedy Festival taking place on June 7th through June 10th. The festival will be held at two Jersey City locations,  Art House Productions located at 345 Marin Boulevard and The Laugh Tour Comedy Club at Dorrian’s Red Hand, located at 555 Washington Boulevard. The festival features a stand up comedy competition with 48 comics from across the country with three headliners Chris Gethard, Rex Navarrete, and Marina Franklin. Audiences will be able to vote for their favorite comedian at each stand up showcase and follow them from start to finish to help them win the festival.

The Laugh Tour Comedy Club at Dorrian’s Red Hand

The Laugh Tour Comedy Club located inside Dorrian’s Red Hand at 555 Washington Boulevard in Jersey City has four shows this weekend on Friday, June 2nd at 7:30PM and 9:45PM and Saturday, June 3rd at 6:30PM and 9:00PM. All shows are hosted by comedian Rich Kiamco and will feature comedians from NY Comedy, Comics Unleashed, SF Punchline, Comic Strip Live, Sirius XM, NYCF Comics to Watch, Game Breakers, Gas Digital, and Dimbloopers. Show tickets $25 for all shows plus a 2 item minimum per person (food or drink with 20% gratuity automatically added).

Party With Purpose’s 5K and After Party Event

Party With Purpose, a volunteer-run nonprofit organization in Hudson County, is hosting its 5K and After Party event on Thursday, June 15th at Pier A in Hoboken from 4:00PM-10:00PM. This waterfront 5K event will kick off with a kids run from 4:00PM-6:00PM and the 5K event starting at 7:00PM with an after party to follow. The after party will include live music and a beer and wine garden on Pier A to celebrate and help support local youth charities including Hoboken Boys and Girls Club, TRUE Mentors, Community Lifestyle. and more. Boys + Girls Clubs of Hudson County | Hoboken + Jersey City

The Boys + Girls Clubs of Hudson County was founded in 1893 to create a positive place for the youth of Jersey City. In the 129 years since its founding, the club has expanded its scope exponentially by offering a mix of nationally developed programs + activities. The Clubs serve more than 2,000 youth ages five to 21 annually in Clubhouses in JC + Hoboken, through a mission to enable all young people to reach their full potential as productive, responsible, + caring citizens of the community.
