Summer Soirée at Terra e Mare

Join Fund for a Better Waterfront at City of Water Day

Fund for a Better Waterfront, a local Hoboken nonprofit organization, was founded on the belief that the waterfront belongs to the people. This Saturday, the nonprofit will be joining other local organizations to celebrate City of Water Day from 9:00AM-3:00PM at the Hoboken Cove, located at 11th Street and Sinatra Drive North, as well as Castle Point Fishing Pier, located on Sinatra Drive just two blocks south of 11th Street in Hoboken. The day will feature FREE fun activities for all ages including hands-on environmental science, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, waterfront tours, as well as art and music to help celebrate the waterfront park and raise awareness about the impact of climate change on the Hudson River shoreline.

Mykesoul Performing at the W Hoboken

Local artist Mykesoul will be performing live this Thursday from 5:30PM-8:30PM at the W Hoboken, located at 225 River Street in Hoboken. Ken O’Rourke will be joining Mykesoul on the bass as the band plays covers and originals, including their newest single, ‘I Wanna Make Your Mind Melt.’ Plus, the North Patio bar at the W Hoboken will be open for drinks and light bites during the sunset performance.

The Laugh Tour at Dorrian’s Red Hand

Dorrian’s Red Hand, located at 555 Washington Boulevard in Jersey City, is hosting two comedy shows on Saturday, July 16th at 6:30PM and 8:30PM. The Laugh Tour is hosted by comedian Rich Kiamco and will feature Robby Collins from Netflix; Glen Tickle from Dry Bar; Liz Glazer, winner from Boston Comedy Fest; and Troy Alan from Edinburgh Fest. Show tickets purchased online in advance of the show are $15 and are $20 day of and at the door with a 2 item minimum per person. Additional shows with other comedians will take place the rest of the year. (Please note, doors to exterior are ajar for ventilation and these indoor comedy events still require proof of vaccination with ID.) Venue and restrooms are wheelchair accessible.
