Mile Square Theatre Presents The Burdens + Ticket Promo

Mile Square Theatre, located at 1400 Clinton Street in Hoboken, presents The Burdens directed by Artistic Director Kevin R. Free and starring Ian Brodsky and Robin Virginie. Told almost entirely via text messages, The Burdens is a dark, family comedy about how technology helps keep people keep close, while still enabling them to keep their distance. The play will run from April 27th to May 22nd with shows at 8:00PM on Wednesday through Saturday and 3:00PM on Sunday. The Laugh Tour at Dorrian’s Red Hand

Dorrian’s Red Hand located at 555 Washington Boulevard in Jersey City is hosting two comedy shows on Saturday, April 30th at 6:30PM and 8:30PM. The Laugh Tour is hosted by comedian Rich Kiamco and will feature Kate Sisk from HBO Women in Comedy, Emily Walsh from Kevin Hart Lyft Comics, Joe Mahoney from Adult Swim, and Patrick Holbert from Sirius XM. Show tickets purchased online in-advance of the show are $15 and are $20 day of and at the door with a 2 item minimum per person. Additional shows with other comedians will take place in May. Please note, doors to exterior are ajar for ventilation with fireplace on inside (these indoor comedy events still require proof of vaccination with ID) Venue and restrooms are wheelchair accessible.

Hudson Pride Center creates safe spaces to celebrate and enjoy life for members of the LGBTQ+ community and its allies. It advocates for the physical, mental, and social well-being of all people. Volunteers are needed to support these efforts alongside full-time staff members. Opportunities include office assistant volunteer, tutor specialist, special event support facilities manager, and Pride Festival, volunteers.
