Hoboken Girl Holiday Sweets Soirèe: Tuesday, December 1st from 6:30-9:30PM
It may not be happening this weekend, but we couldn’t wait to get the word out! Join us for a Hoboken Girl Holiday Party for Charity at TEAK! Your entry ticket includes two FREE holiday cocktails/drinks and appetizers from TEAK–plus samples of holiday dessert from the best local dessert companies in the area including: Choc-o-Pain, Om Sweet Home, Hudson Cakery, Nicole’s Sweet Schoppe, Jaret’s Stuffed Cupcakes, and 16 Handles. A portion of the proceeds will be going to True Mentors, which is a Hoboken-run non-profit dedicated to creating positive relationships and mentoring opportunities for children and teens in Hoboken {www.TrueMentors.org}. The Nerds Live at Wicked Wolf: Friday, November 20th at 8:00PM
Head to Wicked Wolf for a performance by The Nerds. They band will take the stage at 10:00PM but the night’s festivities begin at 8:00. The demand is always so high for this band, so we had to make sure we brought them back to take over our stage and give you one of the best performances of your life. This high-energy band will rock your night with cover songs of the best known Rock n’ Roll music to date. Make sure to RSVP to receive 1/2 price drinks for you and your guests from 8-10:00PM>
The 2nd Annual Hoboken Last Waltz: Saturday, November 21st at 8:00PM
In November of 1975, some of the finest musicians of the time came together to celebrate the final performance of The Last Waltz (1978 album), at the esteemed Joni Mitchell, Eric Clapton, and Neil Young were only a few of the superstars there. In November 2014, a group of Hoboken’s finest musicians came together to recreate this historic event and this weekend they will do it again. Attend this event on Saturday evening at Maxwell’s Tavern. The event begins at 8:00PM and tickets can be purchased here.
Ninja Yoga Flow Inversion Workshop: Saturday, November 21st from 2-4:00PM
This weekend yoga instructor, Erica Arce, will lead a two hour inversion workshop at Devotion Yoga. Learn how to transition through inversions as stealthily as a ninja and land as gracefully as a cat. Be invited to explore new ways to fly into your arm balance practice as Erica guides key core techniques that build towards cat-like prowess poise and grace. In this workshop, you’ll challenge your limits of strength, balance and flexibility, all while building community. Learn new ways to explore postures you already know and deepen your practice by learning to approach the ones you don’t. Definitely ask questions and get personal tips and assists. The 1st Annual Inspired Artist Movement and Fashion Center: Sunday, November 22nd from 11:00AM-7:00PM
Head into Jersey City for the 1st Annual Inspired Artist Movement Music and Fashion Conference, where music and fashion professionals meet to learn, network and get inspired.
