On May 23 from 9-11am, local non-profit animal shelter Liberty Humane Society will host a free Foster Parent Workshop at 201 Central Ave in the Pershing Field Community Center for anyone interested in or simply curious about fostering a cat, dog, or litter of kittens. The shelter is in special need of foster homes during the spring and summer months, also known as Kitten Season. Fostering is a fun opportunity for the households. Kitten fosters get to have all of the fun with kittens, without the long-term commitment that comes with being a forever home to a pet.  Liberty Humane Society provides support, medical care, and supplies to foster homes for LHS animals. Please RSVP to Grace@libertyhumane.org.  See www.libertyhumane.org for more information.

Get out for some Sunday Funday with WICKED BINGO and see what will the Wolf make you do this weekend. The party doesn’t end when BINGO ends. They’ll have their resident DJ playing all night so you can get out on the dance floor.  No work Monday morning- so why not? On Monday, for actual Memorial Day, they’ll be serving their brunch menu all day, along with brunch drink specials, which include: $5 mimosas, manmosas, and Bloody Mary’s and $15 Blue Moon Towers! To top it off? They’re offering 25% off the bill for people who are currently serving our country or have served in the past. We love that they’re honoring the real reason behind Memorial Day!
