“I’m so grateful for the residents, local businesses, our kicka$$ team, and of course — our readers. But this year, I’m especially thankful for local non-profits and organizations that do so much for our community throughout the year: Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance Corps, WomenRising, Hoboken Shelter, and the Hoboken Museum to name a few. And if we’re talking food, I couldn’t live without Black Rail’s sandwiches and oat milk lattes. #Extra I know. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!”

“I’m so thankful to live in a city where I literally can’t walk across town without running into a friendly face. I’m so grateful for the Hudson Yoga Project community that honestly feels more like family than a yoga studio. I’m also grateful for the cappuccinos from Dolce & Salato because they’re the only ones in town that remind me of being in Italy. And, of course, I’m beyond grateful to be part of the HG team where I’m always inspired by amazing women who are doing incredible things in our community.”

“I’m very thankful for one of my favorite restaurants in Hoboken, Leo’s Grandevous. I’ve been going there since I was a little girl (and my family for generations) and to this day we are always treated like family. And even if you go for the first time, they will treat you like family. Oh and of course, the food is amazing every time. Special shoutout to Linda behind the bar — the best there is!”

“I’m thankful for the amazing assortment at Noellery {and that they have locations in both Hoboken and JC} for that last-minute housewarming gift or perfect accessory to complete a look. Also, not to forget that the owner and associates are beyond kind and helpful – it really makes for the perfect shopper experience I’m proud to support!”

“This year I am thankful for bwe kafe for being such an awesome place to set up shop to work for the day when I need to get out of my home office and keeping me fueled with their delicious coffee {oat milk for the win!}.  I’m also thankful for Jersey City Unleashed for taking such good care of my pup.  I always know he’s in good hands during a crazy day which is a huge weight off my shoulders!”

-Ashley C., Travel and Foodie Contributor

“I am SUPER thankful to live in a city with an array of career {and food!} opportunities. Waking up to the Manhattan skyline each morning and being so close to the Big Apple makes me extremely grateful to live here. The adventures are truly endless, and I’m excited to continue.”
