    It may be August, but that doesn’t mean we’re ready to say goodbye to summer! We’re keeping the beach vibes alive with our next Hoboken Girl event: Bringing the Beach to ‘Boken Happy Hour — which will take place Wednesday, August 23rd from 6:30-9:30PM at Birch {92 River Street}. The best part? You don’t have to step foot on the Garden State Parkway South and there’s no bathing suit required {unless you’d like}.

    Hoboken’s dessert scene got a serious upgrade when Birch opened earlier this year. Their handcrafted shakes are super decadent and include mix-ins ranging from toasted marshmallows to whole cupcakes and a full slice of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup pie.     Beaucycled specializes in handcrafted jewelry, knits, and succulent arrangements. Founded in 2012 in the Philadelphia area, they’ve recently made their way up to Hoboken when they hosted a DIY-succulent arrangement event in the Pilsener Haus and Biergarten. Everything they make is totally Insta-worthy and we’re so excited they’ll be offering some DIY sand + sea shell creations at the event.

    No scissors, all style —that’s the theme of Blo-It-Out Lounge located at 1212 Washington Street in Hoboken. The dry bar specializes in blow outs, keratin complex, updos, and makeup and is one of our favorite spots to visit for a glam session. Plus, they offer mobile services as well which is super convenient. They’ll be joining us to offer a braid bar to add to your summer style- 90’s boardwalk hair wraps not included! 😉
