    Let’s face it — we’ve all indulged this holiday season. And while New Year’s resolutions are made to be broken, we’ve decided that for 20 people, 2016 is the last time you can make excuses. That’s correct, we’ve teamed up with Total Nutrition Kitchen and its owner, Chris Almazan of Chris Almazan Fitness to host the ULTIMATE New Year’s Shapeup: The #HobokenFitContest.

    So usually when you work out with a trainer, you get a diet plan and workout plan, work out with them 1-2x per week, and then you’re on your own to fend against your own holiday party/wine/pizza demons. But this time it’s different. The reason? We’ve got the meals to coordinate with your workouts and actually make you see results — in ONE MONTH. The #HobokenFitContest is going to incorporate 3 elements to help you transform your body, starting right after the holidays. And, there’s a prize…mmhmm.  Here’s how it’s all going down:

    The #HobokenFitContest starts Tuesday January 3, 2017 for 20 people in Hudson County {yes — we’re giving you TWO full days to recover from NYE but there are a limited # of spots}, and then it’s game on.

    When you sign up for the program, you get the following from January 3 – February 3, 2017 each week:

    1. 10 fully prepared meals per week from Total Nutrition Kitchen for a month {$10-$12 value each with calories listed out and completely “clean” prepped foods — think sweet potatoes, veggies, lean proteins — but delicious and it won’t feel like you’re sacrificing quality for clean eating} — [40 meals total, $550+ value]
      • Each week, you’ll get 10 meals to enjoy for the week [so 2 meals per day during the work week] and then you can opt for a protein shake or other clean meal for the 3rd meal. Easy peasy.
    2. 2 private personal training sessions per week with the Chris Almazan Fitness team at Cast Iron Lofts [8 45-minute sessions total, $800+ value]
    3. A full diet plan and workout plan to follow, tailored to your current workout and health goals [Weekly check-ins, updates, etc]
    4. A full body transformation in just 30 days*

    What kind of food will I be eating?

    This isn’t your average boring diet that will leave you starving {Editor’s note: promise — tried and true!}. You’ll be eating yummy wraps {yes, including buffalo chicken AND chicken caesar}, [protein] pancakes, steak and rice, meatballs, and lots of other delicious high protein, clean-eating meals that are fully prepared for you {so you don’t have to think for even a minute}.     I’m in. How much does it cost? 

    Easy peasy. When you sign up, you’ll pay $500 upfront for the meals + personal training, and then 2 weeks later pay $500 to complete the program. {So $1000 total for the monthPsssst: Yes, it’s not cheap but normally something like this is worth well over $1500-$2000 for the month when you add up all the meals and personal training sessions included — and if you follow the plan you’re going to look amaze, so totally worth it!}.     What else should I know about the challenge?

    The challenge is open to anyone in the Hudson Country area, but there are only room for 20 lucky peeps who are able to travel to Hoboken and Jersey City to participate. You’ll be training with Chris and his team at the Cast Iron Lofts in JC {right by the Holland Tunnel in a private gym}, and picking up the meals at TNK in Hoboken {322 Washington Street}.

    So I’m not trying to lose a major amount of weight, I just want to lose 5lbs and tone up.

    This program then is literally perfect for you — especially if you need a jumpstart for those last stubborn pounds or just want to tone up and really look and feel your best in 2017. Regardless of the weight you want to lose or fitness goals you have, this is the perfect way to make it happen.

    Do I have to be a part of the challenge or can I just sign up for the program and not opt in for prize?

    The #HobokenFitChallenge is just to keep you accountable and have a fun way of tracking your progress while working towards a goal. You can 100% just sign up for the program and not publicly post your before/after photos on Insta! There are 20 spots for the first 20 to sign up.

    If I’m one of the first 5 people to sign up for the program, what do I get?
