    September is in full swing and this weekend has so much in store for you– including the 15th anniversary of 9/11 memorial service, a very special theatrical performance, the Hoboken Italian Festival, the grand opening of a new bar, and so much more. What will you be up to?

    The American Soldier at MST: Friday, September 9th-Sunday, September 11th

    The one-man show, The American Soldier, will be at Hoboken’s Mile Square Theatre all weekend long. It is written and performed by Douglas Taurel and offers a look into the lives of soldiers from the American Revolution to modern day conflicts. The story comes from real stories written by soldiers and family members and looks at the internal struggles that soldiers when arriving home after deployment.     Hoboken Italian Festival: Friday, September 9th-Sunday, September 11th

    The Annual Hoboken Italian Festival (aka The Feast) is hereeee! It will include live entertainment, fireworks, delicious Italian food (duh), and a variety of vendors. Find more information & the history of this festival hereLocated in Sinatra Park on the waterfront. 

    The Shepherd & the Knucklehead Opens: Friday, September 9th at 3:00PM

    There’s a new bar in town and you’re invited to their grand opening party!! The Shepherd & the Knucklehead will open their doors this Friday at 3:00PM and will offer over 60 craft beers on tap…which one will you try?? Located at 1313 Willow Avenue.

    9/11 Memorial Service on Pier A: Sunday, September 11th at 2:00PM

    The Hoboken community is welcomed this Sunday afternoon to pay tribute to those who lost their lives in the attacks on September 11th, 2001. Whether you’re able to attend this service or not, we encourage you to take the time to honor our country and the many lives lost during this tragic day 15 years ago. The service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on the southeast corner of  Pier A Park.

    The Dubliner is kicking off the first Sunday Funday with their annual charity event. This event will raise funds for two very important charities and will feature a 4-hour open bar/buffet, prizes, and of course, the games.
