For those looking to shop small with local artisans and vendors, the HDSID Holiday Market is here just in time. Beginning Saturday, December 10th, the market will be open 12PM to 6PM and continues on December 11th, 17th, and 18th — giving everyone a chance to shop small and local at this unique event. Holiday Shopping + Winter Wonderland
The holiday market provides two thriving places for artisans + vendors to sell during the holiday season — the open-air market at the Grove PATH Plaza and The Ashford heated rooftop. Countless booths featuring over 40 artisans will be available to peruse, meaning all you need to worry about is how to schlep all your amazing local purchases back home.
The Happy Holiday Market will also include live music, eats from around town, brunch with Santa on 12/10 presented by Whole Spectrum Autism, and a human-sized snow globe on 12/11 and 12/18.
For the first time ever, the Newark Avenue Pedestrian Plaza will be transformed into a winter wonderland beginning Saturday, December 10th. The festivities will also include synthetic iceless skating on 12/10 and 12/11 — tickets are $10 and include ice skate rental.

The HDSID Happy Holiday Market will take place in downtown Jersey City at the Grove PATH Plaza and The Ashford on December 10th + December 11th. The event will continue the following weekend on December 17th + December 18th. The market will be open from 12PM – 6PM both weekends.
